Mohamed and his family are great hosts. They helped me a lot during my short period in Egypt. The location is very near to the Great Pyramids of Giza and close to most touristic attractions in Cairo. Thanks you so much, guys!

Good location near the entrance to the Pyramids, but not directly on the main street. Nice local restaurant (El Gizawy) and a bakery nearby. Great staff, very helpful and kind. The room was nice, spacious and clean with an amazing Pyramid view! Two details I wish could be fixed: the shower curtain didn't protect the floor from water at all and the TV was mounted in a place where it couldn't be watched really. But there are almost no English language channels available in Egypt, so not a problem really :) Overall it was a good value for money and we enjoyed our stay a lot!

The property itself is lovely, but the host who speaks English was not kind to us and was picking fights with me over simple issues, also did not attend to us as he should have. The view and the maids working at the hotel are wonderful, only that the English-speaking host does not know how to speak to people.

Ontbijt erg karig

No breakfast available at 8:00 am as they said and when I waited for it was very poor: No fruit, yoghurt, eggs, neither milk. They asked me to pay with dollars but they didn't have any change and they gave it 2 days later after insisting several times. Customer service is not good and they offer extremely expensive transfers and excursions . The view is amazing but I didn't enjoy my stay there.

Many of the amenities listed on the Expedia site were not available or were not offered. There was regular loud construction noise from 9:30 am til 8 - something at night. Debris from the construction was everywhere and had to step over tools and through dust and debris to get to my room. In addition to the noise of the work, the people were speaking to each other quite loudly and shouting up and down the flight of stairs. I had to ask got toilet paper multiple times before it was given to me. Also, my door had trouble opening from the inside, as the retracting mechanism functioned poorly and required extra stress on the handle to operate. The first night there, I locked the door at night which required locking from the inside with the key. The construction noise was still going past 9pm so I went to unlock and open the door to check and see what they were doing and the door wouldn't unlock. I tried turning the handle to see if this would allow me to simultaneously unlock the door somehow and the handle broke. Luckily the window in my room opened into the stairwell and after a half hour of attempting to request help from people passing through, someone finally summoned one of the owners who had me pass the key under the door so he could unlock it and open it. He called someone to fix it but nobody came. I was unable to lock my door that night and the next and I also had to use a towel to grab the sharp piece of metal leftover from the broken foot handle to open it.

Was really excited about this property due to the location, but very let down. We stayed for two nights and eventually found another hotel that was much better. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and I reached out twice to the owner for assistance and he never responded. I work remotely, so Wi-Fi is important. It existed but always said “no internet connection” so I guess the listing isn’t misleading, but it does not work at all. Secondly, we were leaving for the day to go on a tour and a random child started asking to see our key, what room we were in, where we were going and how long we were going to be gone. This was very alarming and left us feeling very uneasy while we should have been enjoying our tour of the pyramids. The streets were filled with people who hassled you to buy things or tried to help you with directions, expecting a tip. The last straw was the morning after our second (last) night when I shook the cover on the bed to look for something, and found an adult bedbug on the bed.
