I want to express my gratitude for the loyalty of the hotel staff, especially the security officers. We lost a mobile phone and found it in the compound and the security guards found and handed it to the hotel manager.

In Ethiopia, I've never been treated so well. We had a full table setting done, speakers provided, waiters serving us until late at night. We had not requested a bow. The weather was also quite good and it was nice to get away from adds.

We had a fantastic experience during our stay. Excellent attention to detail and friendly service. The kids had a fantastic time and demanded that we extend our stay. The level of care to ensure that we were comfortable is very good.

About Haile Resort Ziway Batu

Ziway/Batu is located 167 km from the capital Addis Ababa. Lake Ziway/Dambal is the largest of the Northern group of rift valley lakes covering 440 km2 surrounded by volcanic hills and is home of the Zay people. The lake earned just a quick hit on a southern stopover, for its productive birdlife and hippopotamus. The lake encompasses five Islands, including Gelila, Fundro, Debre Sina, Tsedacha and Tulu Gudo, which is home to a monastery said to have housed the ark of the covenant around the ninth century.
