This charming place is 800 meters from cancel port, where all the best restaurants and some good shops are located. The walk takes you through the forest and under the paved road straight to the beach and marina. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Marc, the owner, is very friendly and helpful.

This place has a good location to spend a few days. In early June 2014, I visited Colors de Mer with my wife and two daughters. There were very few English-speaking reviews, and I could see that it had been excellently rated on TrioDvisor. For the rest of the time, it gave me an opportunity to use my limited French skills. The emerge suite, which included two bedrooms, a toilet, and a sink in the smaller bedroom, was where we stayed. Because the proprietor Mark is friendly and speaks the best English to avoid guests who are not French-speaking. The bedrooms were clean, with modern furniture. Although this is not a five-star effort, I accord it five stars because of how good it is. It is still very peaceful because it is far enough away from the major highways. There are several small hotels in town, but they would likely be noisy, especially on weekends. The mattresses were cozy. Five minutes from the i, there is a path that goes under three tunnels and then goes under one of the nearby roads. For ten minutes, you can also go on the same route to one of the roads to cancel. There are fantastic cancel restaurants for seafood, and their specialty is oysters. There is a promontory from which you can see fantastic views of the coastline and across to Mount It Michael. There are 8 or 10 vendors selling a variety of oysters, most of which were harvested that morning. You won't taste fresher or better oysters! For our family of 4, we stayed in the emerald suite. It would be equally excellent for two couples traveling together, provided they were prepared to share a toilet and shower, both separate from the bedrooms. Also, the breakfast was excellent! Make a reservation at cafe breath for fantastic sweet and savory crepes. And, make sure to reserve upper at the la table de breath for a truly outstanding meal that combines the flavors and ingredients from bretagne with techniques and flavors from Japan.

My husband and I and 2 young daughters stayed in the Emerald Room. It was a good arrangement that the girls had their own sink in their room while the adults had a separate bathroomshower room. The owner was very helpful and gave recommendations for restaurants and attractions near the hotel.
