The hotel's entire team is wonderful. Everyone on staff is helpful and welcoming and goes above and beyond. The breakfast was wonderful, and the neighborhood was truly friendly and inviting. Elizabeth and Victoria were excellent in recommending hotels and everything else we requested, including excellent hairdressers. Richard, I think the bar manager, who seemed to be everywhere, was nice and very good at getting you to see you right away after a drink, so you didn't have to wait too long for the next one! And last but certainly not least, the host with the greatest johnny, who brings his joy of life to the entire area. Hes a very pleasant and helpful guy, and you can also rent skis from mad wax, which are immediately delivered to the hotel. Rooms on the ground level can hear live music or a particularly lively evening in the pub, but it's not a big deal. There is a spa that does treatments, the pool is wonderful, but the steam room is extremely hot, so be careful with that, and the sauna was a little hit-and-miss during our stay, we never saw anyone down there to inquire about anything. I do hope the owner can get this wonderful team to return each winter, as they are the unique ups that distinguish this hotel from the other ones in the region.

A very well positioned hotel just a few minutes walk from the centre of town and the main ski lifts. The rooms are modern, comfortable and well maintained. A great bar, spa and breakfast are also provided. It is the staff however, that are truly outstanding. Very welcoming, friendly and so willing to assist.

I visited Les Gets as a solo traveller and chose Chamois d'Or for my stay. From the start, the booking process was very easy. The staff at the hotel were welcoming and couldn't do more. The hotel was tastefully decorated throughout with some gorgeous antique furniture. My room was homely and comfortable with a very comfortable bed (the most important part!). The bar was lovely and the cocktails superb, really good quality. Luckily I'm back next weekend so I can catch up on the Espresso Martini I never had time for :) The ONE thing that I would have loved to see is tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I brought my own, I always need a lot of cuppa's. Then this hotel would be complete :) Thank you all for making my stay so lovely

Very nice hotel and good location. Staff were all young and very friendly, gave good advice on restaurants and other details in town. The spa area was pleasant and well maintained even though the hot pool was cold some evenings. Would stay here again.

Great location for this lovely boutique hotel. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, particularly Will. Would highly recommend. Only area for improvement is that breakfast could be a bit more interesting versus the usual but that is a minor point.

When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by one of the hotel owners. She was friendly, took the time to introduce herself and offered. About my short stay you were treated as if you were the only guest, the service was 2nd to none, nothing was too much hard work. The hotel staff were polite and would genuinely stand and have a conversation with you. Uchitel everyone was happy working there, and the service was genuine .

Superbe hôtel rénové alliant le style chalet savoyard et modernité. Très cosy et confortable, bien situé à 5 minutes à pied des remontées mécaniques. Accueil chaleureux, le personnel est aux petits soins, très souriant et fait l'effort de parler français. Joli spa, un peu petit, mais vraiment agréable après une journée de ski. Très bon petit-déjeuner. Le personnel est présent et attentif à ce qu'il y ait toujours assez de tout (nourriture, vaisselle) au buffet pendant l'horaire du petit-déjeuner.

We really appreciate the wonderful stay of the owner, Pete, head of everything, Johnny, restaurant manager, Richard, and the entire crew. The hotel is very welcoming, the rooms are really comfortable and clean, and the adjacent Indian restaurant is great. After a day of skiing, the spa is also a big bonus. Breakfast was so great that we never ate lunch. And the bar is a fun location to gather at night. I strongly recommend this place and hope to see you again soon.

I appreciate every single one of the amazing employees at the Chamois Dor in Les Gets for another wonderful stay. I want to thank Pete, Jonny, Richard, Eva and all the wonderful employees at the Chamois Dor in Les Gets for another great visit. The hotel itself is welcoming and warm, and the bedrooms are cozy, spotless, and well-equipped. The beds are quite comfy! At the conclusion of a day on the slopes, you must visit the spa, as well as the bar, which serves delicious cocktails and is always lively, particularly on Wednesdays, not to miss it! Breakfast is fantastic and perfect for the day. Bali, the adjacent Indian restaurant, is a wonderful place to supper if you want something a little different. The location is also ideal, just a short walk from the Chavannes lift, from which you can ski over to morning, and the Port du Soleil area via the Super Morning. Thank you once more for another wonderful vacation. Next year, see you!.

We highly recommend this hotel restaurant. This is a fantastic hotel on so many levels. From the attentive staff who make you feel so welcome and at home especially Johnny and Lizabeth thank you to the details in the room that show they have gone above and beyond, to the lovely decor and finishes. Our room was beautiful, the bed and linens were very comfortable, the toiletries are luxurious and plentiful, and everything was clean. They even opened the spa the next morning early for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is what a hotel breakfast should be, with an interesting spread for buffet and your choice of hot breakfast. Our experience from start to finish was exceptional, we will definitely be back. Thanks to Peter and the team. I. I. Bali the hotel restaurant served some of the best Indian food we have had in a long time.

Having the room cleaned was not automatic. The Spa is not super convenient having to ask staff to power on the sauna and steam room. The staff was great and very welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to the town and the ski departure area. Breakfast was great also.
