I reserved it for my wife and me about 5 months in advance, and we were eager to see it. We werent let down. They supplied a complete list of locally available food and beverages, directions, shopping, and checkups. This is a selfcatering space with knobs on and off. a couple days before we arrived, I received an email informing me that a guest who was currently living in our rebooted room wanted to stay a little longer and would not have liked a different room. I set out some specifics and accepted them when they were confirmed. We ended up in a very large groundfloor suite with no noise here, complete with two bathrooms with everything, and a loungedining area. We had a real shock! The second bedroom had a view of the countryside beyond and the backyard, but the other had an unpleasant, notso great view from the side. A welcome basket with a few necessities, as well as cement, and a phone were included. As advised, we had visited a grocery store. We had a difficult journey by car from calais via the bayou, so getting here in the middle of a peaceful countryside was ideal. Except for a visit to the Saucer market, we just relaxed. All of the employees were courteous and incredibly helpful. First class!.

The chateau is a short drive from town, with restaurants, churches, and bakeries. Sambar, a lovely town, also takes about 30 minutes. If I were to return to the lire valley, I would most certainly go back to the chateau de jalensnes! In November and December, my buddies and I remained at the chateau. It was a incredibly rewarding experience, so we were very unhappy to leave. Jenny is a wonderful hostess. We got to know more about the chateaus past and how it came to be. Amelia was also fantastic as well! The rooms are large and provide everything you could possibly need, including a microwave, oven, refrigerator, washing machine, bathtub, separate shower, towel warmer, and so forth. It was extremely comfy and felt like an apartment. The communal areas and chapel were wellkept and peaceful. The building is excellent. The grounds are stunning. The ferngully and the rapunzel tower can both be visited on a short stroll around the property. The foliage in the fall was gorgeous with colors. Youll also encounter caves with so much history if you walk through the moat. A duck, a cow, and an reindeer are among the neighbors! Breakfast was fantastic every morning! We stayed in a studio apartment with one bedroom. The accommodation is luxury and very well thought out. We cooked in and found the small kitchen more than adequate. The welcome bottle of bubbles and the high standard of everything, combined with the beautiful surroundings and walks made this the perfect place to relax.

We had a wonderful experience overall. This year, in august, we spent one week at the Chateau. There is everything you could possibly need for a self-catering vacation, with the added luxury of five, in the accommodation and general atmosphere of the entire facility. David and his wife were fantastic hosts, always available to answer questions and assist with everything you required. On a Sunday evening, we arrived, and all shops and eateries were closed. We had a little food with us, but David had set up a bar on the terrace, so we enrolled. Everything was organized so that tables were evenly distributed, and only mask-clad employees served salads and sauces, etc. We felt extremely safe, and everything was spotless. Although occasionally we could have used more sun loungers, the pool area is lovely. We had dinner twice at the nearby triton neighborhood bar, which served a very reasonably priced menu du jour for up to four courses of wine and coffee for 12. 50. Its not too far from Saucer, which offers everything you could want from a city. We wish we could have stayed here for two weeks, but sadly there was no availability our second week in a rustic set was quite disappointing in comparison to the same price.

My experience wasn't the same as staying here as a hotel since I only stayed for three nights for a wedding. Kitchen facilities in a very ancient building are amazing and very modern, which is a rare combination. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a wonderful shower. The only issue was that the mirrors above the basins were too high for short people. The gardens and nearby woodlands are a pleasure to explore, and the pool is at a nice temperature. Very strategic, only 20 minutes from Saucer.
