You prefer a quiet environment and are willing to share someones home with cats. We are not cat lovers, but on short notice we were ready to settle. We were the only guests. Madam Genevieve was a lovely, welcoming host, but a free parking spot was a long hike up a very steep slope from the house. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast that was fresh but not good value for the money, and the room facilities were adequate. Genevieve was quite kind and offered to drop us off at the port and pick us up on the two nights we stayed there because one of us was ineligible to walk the halfway into town, which has little parking.

You prefer privacy and are willing to share someones home with cats. We are neither cat nor dog lovers, but we made a compromise on a tight schedule. We were the only visitors. Madam Genevieve was warmly welcome, however, parking was free, but a hike up a very steep hill from the house. Breakfast was a typical continental affair, fresh but not great for the price, and the room amenities were adequate. But Genevieve was very kind and offered to drop us off at the port and pick us up on the two nights we remained there because one of us was too sick to walk half-morning into town because there is little parking.
