The bed was very comfortable - one of the best ive slept in when away from home. The room was wellappointed with decent tea and coffee facilities. Refrigerator in the room is a nice touch. Bathroom was fine, but the push button flush required the strength of conan to push in fully (and the flush didnt work properly). Shower temperature couldnt be changed from the default setting i was comfortable with it but if you wanted it hotter or colder, you were out of lick. Heated towel rail also didn't function. Didnt use the restaurant but checkin staff were nice enough. Fair old walk to the furthest rooms!.

The hotel is pleasant enough. Friendly staff, but the restaurant food is very average, the beer is expensive and the room 247 smells like cigarette smoke! There is no hot water for a morning shower either.

In the england, i moved my daughter to Durham university for her first year of college. The hotel was 25 minutes from her flat. Beautiful grounds and golf course. You must have a car to stay here, except you are only there to play golf.

I came here for a ladies night event or party. The large room was nicely decorated, with plenty of space and i also liked the dance floor. We had supper for three courses, so ive been into food intolerance, and the place accommodated me well. They knew about me before the party, but they were aware of it. It was delicious, hot, in good portions. Bravo to the chef. Staff were friendly and cleared the tables pretty quickly. Overall, he had an amazing night and great venue.

The room was a little antiquated, but most importantly, it was clean and equipped with all the amenities needed. The staff were friendly, had scrumptious pizza in the onsite restaurant, and the breakfast was adequate.

I dont think we will stay here again when visiting family. Let me begin with the positives. With two chairs and a sofa, the room was spacious and cozy. The restroom was also large and spotless. We were there for six nights to visit relatives in the area, so there was plenty of storage space for our bags. Carter and fiitch, who owns the restaurant, were also incredibly helpful. Excellent food, wine, and good service. Now, my primary reason for giving this hotel three stars was the absurd housekeeping policy. Unless you call and request daily service, it is strictly enforced to only clean the apartment every other day. Although we did, this did not occur every day either. You are required to replenish your room with towels, toilet paper, coffee, or tea supplies by going to restocking the cabinet at reception. Even though it was obvious that there were two of us in each room when they did service the accommodation, housekeeper only provided towels for one person. As resulting, we had to return to reception to get more towels. Another reason i gave this motel the same rating as ive done was because of the quintessentially english design of stairs in front of main hallway - three sets of five or six to be precise. The room was spacious, clean and tidy, although i would say it could use a bigger tv. The swimming pool or sun area was great. Food was delicious with lots of options, it was nice to see decent bread instead of snobbish supermarket value pack. Really enjoyed my stay here and would love to visit again.

The hotel is nice and the room is good. The food was very good and there is also a good selection on the menu. Unfortunately the pool was closed when we were there which was unfortunate and it would have been nice to know that before booking but i was only staying overnight so not causing utmost problems. One complaint ive had is that on their website they say the gym opens at 6 am but the lady at reception said it opened at 7 am, which is the main reason he uses when booking hotels. It was really annoying that if able to use the fitness early in the morning, allowing me to access it.

We stayed for a weekend at the spa as i was accompanied by 6 females for prewedding. We booked the cozy night in package. All staff were very attentive and we had t he best weekend ever. The food was delicious, the rooms were clean and the pool was beautiful.

Id like to start by praising the personnel. They were all excellent. My friend fell ill and required an ambulance, so my stay was ruined. Every employee i spoke with was extremely kind and helpful. The staff made sure he had everything ive needed, including hot drinks for myself and iced water for her when a friend couldnt leave. After checkout time, they allowed me to remain in the room so if u can have coffee before driving home. I will most certainly return soon to use the facilities and dine. And most importantly, hv to thank the employees.

I came to celebrate with a close friend and asked for an upgrade when i arrived, and was given he more spacious room plus arrival. Drinks. A nice start to our stay. I enjoyed the time in the pool. Its crowded but still relaxing. Other guests might need to remind them to take od after showering in their sauna or steam room. Ate in restaurant - limited menu but enjoyable. New staff needs some training. The room was comfortable and slept well. Breakfast service is good.

We were staying at the hotel for a wedding reception. The staff was lovely and having supper above the function suite was really convenient. Breakfast was excellent. A few drawbacks the rooms could use some tlc. Very hot and no air conditioning so we left the room open for the entire stay.

The complimentary use of the spa before and after checkout and the complimentary upgrade to room 147 of bandb was a nice touch, which we didnt use but will use the next time. The discount room for wedding guests was also fantastic. Checkin and bar staff were very polite and perfect.

We reserved the bridal suite and privelage rooms for the evening before and the night of our wedding. I must add that the accommodations were exceptional, the service was excellent, and both the staff and myself were very accommodating and understanding with room checkout times on our day of wedding and assisted my partner move his bags to another room. The staff is a credit to the hotel, so we look forward to staying again. Many thanks for making our stay memorable.

The food was good, the place looked clean, and the room was suitable for the show. No complaints at all, i mean anyone who can accommodate fire eaters and trapeze artists is fine with me. We went there for a show in tavern on the weekend and they were all so friendly and couldnt do enough for you.

The hotel felt spacious and modern, and it was conveniently located for our itinerary. The staff was helpful and friendly throughout. Both the bedroom and its bathroom were spotless and wellequipped. Its selfservice breakfast was also good. However, the bedrooms uncomfortablely high temperature was the only drawback i had when ive arrived late in the summer during a miniheatwave, so if ill leave this room, besides that, there is no fan or air conditioning, which makes the heat unbearable even with the window open. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

Our guests particularly loved the wedding meal and appreciated the hotel as idolce. Many of our guests who stayed over also enjoyed the facilities, the swimming pool, restaurants, and hotel rooms.
