The breakfast was served very quickly and perfectly. The room was clean and a good size for a Paris hotel of this type. The staff were so helpful. The location is also convenient.

The hotel is conveniently close to the metro and the train station. If you have a lot of bags, I would take a taxi, though. The room was big and clean for three guests. Two twin beds and one double bed. The room's size surprised me. The bathroom was clean and roomy. It was great to be able to have air conditioning because it was during the heat wave. Once they cooled up to us americans, the staff was welcoming. As I don't speak French and don't try to butcher the language, I only kept politely as much as I could. The receptionist lady assisted me several times with directions. The extra cost is well worth it. The night before we left, we requested a cab, which was the only reason it didn't get 5 starts. We were rushed to get the train and they didn't order it.

It's in a good location, has a comfy room, and is close to the city center, with helpful and friendly employees, especially Pietro and Enzo. However, the room needs a minibar or at least a small refrigerator, so that it can store food, and other items.

Overall, I enjoy the hotel, and I can recommend it. This is not my first time spending the night at the Hotel Opera Grand Magazine. I adore this hotel. The setting is good, close to the opera and Saint-Gerards Metro stations, and 15 minutes stroll from the opera. We were given a room number 302, which is on the third level and has lovely street views. The room we were given was 302, a third-floor room with decent street views. Pretty large by French standards. Safe deposit box, flat-screen with only French channels. Free mineral water, tea, and coffee. Excellent shower. Breakfast is a convenient option for my price. Staff is also very cordial and accommodating. Warning: booking via the hotels web page can be confusing. Instead of warning me, the site chose a date when the hotel was fully booked. I continued my reservation, but no reconfirming of dates appeared before paying. As a result, the cost was neither reimbursed nor cancelable. It was partly my fault, but I think the booking procedure should be clearer.
