Staff were always happy to help, showers were hot and powerful, food was simple but delicious.The hotel was small and old fashioned and lovely to experience whilst we enjoyed our weekend in Paris. Thankyou for having us!

Nous sommes arrives tard à cause d'un problème de train et la personne à l'accueil était très aimable. Le lendemain pareil une dame charmante. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, l'hôtel bien situé par rapport à la gare de l'est et calme.

The room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. The hotel was located in a very good area to get around to other spots in Paris. The rooms are very classic Parisian style. If you are looking for a super modern hotel—this is not it. Overall, we highly enjoyed it.

Loved the location - 1/2 block to the metro. Lively area with lots of restaurants and shops. The staff was mixed - some attentive, some not saying a word coming or going. There are some steps up to the elevator if that is a problem for you. However, I will definitely stay again.

We were very happy at Hôtel Chopin for our first trip to Paris! The room was cozy and clean, and fit our needs: somewhere simple, clean, and safe to sleep for a fair price. The front desk staff were all pleasant, polite, and helpful. Breakfast was also very good (continental, so nothing cooked, but the croissants were amazing). The entrance is down Passage Jouffroy, which was very fun to walk down each day! (Passage Jouffroy is secured at night - use the buzzer by the gate to call the front desk if after 9:00pm.) It is less than half a block to the Grands Boulevards Metro station (follow signs to Musée Grévin) which made it convenient to everywhere in Paris. There are also many restaurants and cafés within an easy walk, and we felt safe on the street, even late at night. The room did not have air conditioning, (nowhere in Paris does), but they provided a fan, and the room cross-ventilated nicely so it was cool enough to sleep at night. We would stay here again.
