The staff greeted us even when we arrived late in the evening. Room was beautiful with an elegant bathroom. Great spot to walk at night, passed canals. Also a short stroll to the outdoor markets & church in the morning.

This was a really nice place to stay. In the midst of the old town yet tucked away just enough so that you could not hear a thing. Room was spacious and modern. (Solo traveller). I would stay here again.

Paixão a primeira vista!!!

The hotel is in an excellent location with attentive and helpful staff available 24/7. Our room was comfortable and very clean. We would absolutely recommend a stay here and would book a room here again if returning to Annecy!

As the name says, the hotel entrance is from the courtyard behind a shop on one of Annecy's main streets leading to the old town and lakeside and a short walk from the rail and bus station. Much attention has been paid to appearance, from the modern reception and imaginative decor to the smart staff uniform. Rooms and bathrooms are of ample size but could benefit from more storage (shelves and hooks, notably.) One source of irritation was that the room had not been serviced by mid-afternoon - adding to the suspicion that the management paid more attention to appearance than service. A pity, since the staff were individually very pleasant. A good continental breakfast is served in the elegant restaurant which serves as an upmarket brasserie in the evening.

Close to the main city area, the lake and the bus station! Staff were friendly and rooms clean. We wish there was a kettle in the room to have hot water on cold nights but when requested staff did bring a kettle up to our room.

Service: First desk personal was a bit difficult to communicate with (not well English speaking) Asked for ekstra duvet. Were given a duvet and a sheet self to put on. Asked for other room. Nice staff called to offer us this after two days. Room: Odd room. Entry via a very long empty corridor Very dark - only one window Lamp and ceiling deco placed to the side of the bed - not central. No bed lamps Light switch by entry - not by bed. Bathroom-makeup mirror very low placed. Soap dispenser just under plug. TV placed to the side of the bed - not in front. Door to (?) in middle of room. A room for sleeping not for spending any time. Facilities. No commonspaces - indoor or outdoor. Very closed restaurant space. No option of buying anything at the hotel others than in the restaurant. Staff: Friendly staff - but over 4 days many different people in this very small hotel. Felt overpriced compared to other hotels visited in the same vacation period.

Hotel is conveniently located and room was very clean. However, they put me on the fourth floor which has no elevator service and a winding staircase that a traveler struggles getting the suitcase up and down. Avoid the fourth floor room assignment.
