Propriété de charme, entièrement rénovée dans un style de l’époque avec néanmoins tout le confort actuel. Tout y est de bon goût. Calme absolu avec nuits où le sommeil est de qualité, petit-déjeuner succulent, accueil charmant par la maîtresse des lieux qui nous a bien renseignés sur les curiosités de La région. Un rêve!

Wonderful restored little chateau, full of authentic charm and with and amazing garden, in which rare breed cats, hens, ducks, doves and pheasants stroll peacefully between gorgeous flowers. We stayed in what they call "the flat", but is really a very cute separate little house, with two bedrooms, a very nice bathroom and a kitchenette. Everything is beautifully furnished, decorated and arranged, with lots of antiques, and extremely comfortable. We slept like babies and in the morning had a sumptuous breakfast in the main house's really grand dining room. The owner, Monique, joined us there for a chat. She is a wonderful person who has had a most interest life, and we really enjoyed meeting her. There is no internet in the rooms, which some people might miss, but we actually welcomed that - total relaxation, both physical and mental. I could not recommend it more!

Un parc, une belle bâtisse, Monique vous accueille avec une vigueur que ses 80 ans n'ont pas entamée. Les chambres offrent une décoration absolument unique, fruit de plusieurs décennies de travail de la propriétaire. On trouve le charme d'une maison familiale typique de nos campagnes, et un décor de théâtre à l'étage des chambres et du très beau mobilier. Un bon petit déjeuner vous sera servi le matin. Attention simplement, comme il ne s'agit pas d'un hôtel, il est demandé de ne pas rentrer tard le soir pour pouvoir fermer la maison. Nous avons eu la plus grande chambre, superbe mais un lit de seulement 140cm.

Our room was literally to die for! An enormous bedroom with a 4 poster bed and a lovely bathroom. It was more like a Wolsey Lodge than a hotel, kept by a charming lady who adores cats! It was very quiet indeed and there were lovely walks in the woods nearby. Breakfast was delicious. Auxerre is the nearest place for dinner which is about 6 miles away. We spent a very happy 24 hrs here.

Voici une étape incontournable en passant sur l'autoroute à 11kms de la sortie 19. A l'orée d'un bois, le calme absolu, le charme d'une belle demeure, le confort, l'accueil chaleureux, la table délicieuse et des petits déjeuners inoubliables. C'est le raffinement à la française. Une maison d'amis pour partager, devant un beau feu de cheminée, l'amitié.

Interesting throw back to s century ago. Nicely maintained manor with authentic hostess. Cats and canaries share the breakfast room. Very little English understood. Good night sleep in quiet countryside.

We had a wonderful time and Madame and her staff couldn't have been nicer. Not sure we would have found it without a GPS as it is in the country. A wonderfully relaxing stay.

The staff only speaks French. If you don't speak French you will be stuck with absolutely any questions that you have, so beware of this before booking. Also, we booked a room with 4 beds (clearly noted in our booking) and only got a room with two beds.

Il faut arrêter à proposer ça comme location.avant tout ont est pas trop exigeant mais la c’est vraiment pas possible dû laisser pas d’avis Pas wifi Odeur des affaires anciennes irrespirables la nuit et brûlures aux nez matin.très mal dormi J’ai écrasé un 12 araignées et piqué comme le matin. Il faut pas sortir à l’extérieur car il y une alarme des 22 h 30 et pas entrer trop tard.dormir dans des draps avec poussière . Brefs plus 200€ la nuit . Je vais faire une réclamation à Expedia

This is an (expensive) B&B NOT a hotel. no food and a car is necessary to the nearest restaurant. No air conditioning. And a wholly inadequate bathroom. And to get in you need to get them to open the gates (best to arrive in daylight). Having lugged my suitcase up the stairs, i lugged it down again and went in search of somewhere cooler that served food.
