In Coulombiers, a region about 18 km southwest of Poitiers. The rooms are tidy but very basic with outdated furnishings and decor. Although the hotel has an official star rating, the facilities are onestarhotel varieties. There are no shampoo, shower gel in small pouches, not even bottles, and towels are quite rough because they save on fabric softeners. Free WiFi is slow and intermittent. There are two nice things about this place: the charming and extremely friendly staff, and reportedly the restaurant, according to critics, as we did not eat there. All of this is fine, but I'm not sure why people spend 90 euros on this type of room. That is definitely not worth it, maybe 60, 70 minimum.

The staff and management here are helpful, and the rooms are nice. This gem is the ideal place to eat and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. Also good walking is possible next door.

We traveled through France for the night and spent the night there. Since we were traveling with a dog, we made an upgrade request. This was supposed to be a superior with a seating space for about 50 additional seats. There were only two additional seats in the standard room, which just slipped in the way. There was no air conditioning, and it was a hot night. Only a loud fan. The restaurant served a good menu, and the food was of very high quality. That clearly doesn't apply to breakfast, which you ordered the previous night and were left out on a table. The room was disappointing all around. Even though the dinner was delicious, the price was expensive.

We have been visiting this hotel on our way to southern France for several years. Every time we visit it, it's a jewel that we marvel at. It has a lovely welcoming atmosphere, beautiful ocean of food that any world class restaurant in Paris or London would be proud of serving. Don't miss it.

This place was very pleasant, the service provided here was very thoughtful and kind. When we stayed here for the night while on vacation in France, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of the meals on the given menu. We were quite satisfied with the food, particularly with the great food, the staff is quite kind and attentive, the room is much more typical than the food, the bathroom design is old, and we found it clean and normal, and everything is fine. The price was high, but the meal made us have an outstanding evening to relax while eating excellent food that we really appreciate.
