This place is wonderful. The house is in the family for 200 years and has lots of history and antiques. I wished I had known the old friends and relatives. The location is excellent. They should have had more. Thank you.

Our visit to Manor de Bray was wonderful, a dazzling trip back in time at a manor that has been in the same family for over 200 years. The house is nothing short of elegant and houses a huge collection of furniture, paintings, silver, porcelain, clocks, and memorabilia that the family has taken over that time. It is on a quiet country road with cows grazing nearby, but within a few minutes drive, around 5 am, of a village with a few very nice restaurants. The hosts are very warm and welcoming and will be pleased to share a glass or two of calvados and talk about travels, politics, or whatever. And, the breakfasts are great, I would say that on this threeweek trip to several regions of France the best was whoever number two was it was distant number two. regional cheese, regional pate, fresh homemade croissants, chestnut bread, eggs, salmon, and ham just to name a few of the items available. Although the hosts have little English proficiency, we believe that the manor is the place to stay in this normandy region. Treat and honfleur are within an easy drive, and we would happily stay here again.

The manor de bray was a beautiful, memorable stay. The manor has been a part of a family for nearly 200 years, and one can trace all of its past and present in the property. There are a number of well-liked, accommodating, and incredibly welcoming visitors. Even their gorgeous dog was present. There was something special about breakfast. And it was a complete departure from the typical breakfast experience in French hotels. There were some normandy favorites, such as pate, salmon, cheese, eggs, lots of delicious bread, jams, and many more. We regret that we were unable to eat more meals because everything was so delicious.

On May 8, 2013, I was able to stay here. It was excellent! Since it was our first time, I didn't like the excellent breakfast, but it was the best meal of the trip. Mr. and Mrs. made us feel really welcome and provided us with a glass of his homemade calvados from his own apples. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

We will certainly stay here again if we return. John and Angela were great hosts. My husband and I enjoyed sitting and visiting with them on their beautiful lawn. We live in a rural area, so we enjoyed the quiet beauty of this location. The house was a piece of history. We loved everything about it. Breakfast was the best we had in France. There was a wide variety of cuisine to choose from. If you enjoy being in the countryside not far from town and wanting to stay in a historic house this is unquestionably the place to stay. John and Angela will make you feel welcome and very comfortable.
