I stayed in a link cottage. The neighbors could be muted, so it could be addressed better. The house is immaculate but tiny. Ideal for one person. There is a lovely swimming pool in the park. The location is excellent, the lake and beach are both close by. There aren't many shops nearby, but there are plenty of trails for walking, biking, watersports, etc. I had a pleasant time, and the weather was great! I would recommend this location to friends and family.

The accommodation was a bit basic. We had to pay extra for towels and bedding because they were self catering. Very cheap and clean. Great location on the lake and beach. Excellent restaurants nearby. Great for a vacation for a few days.

The cleanliness was good even though there were cleaning tools available. The room is comfortable. We reserved a 3 bedroom cottage which has a large size and fully equipped. Parking outside the cottage is not allowed unless you want to load and unload. The view from the cottage over the lake was beautiful. The receptionists were kind, and the staff spoke English.

What a sight on our road trip. Lac de Der is a sizable lake, inquire all around, with lovely wooded countryside and more well-developed places like this, far enough from the road for complete peace and quiet. The chalets are close to the lake, with a good sized beach and marked swimming area. lots of grass, picnic benches, playground, and woodways. The chalets are simple but clean, comfortable and well equipped with outdoor seating. There is also an indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room close to reception. Bedsheets and towels are not provided, but you can pay to borrow if you don't have your own. The nearest supermarket is 10 km away, so make your shopping before you get here the reception staff is really friendly and efficient. A marina and some bars and restaurants are a 10 minute walk from the chalets. You can do several water sports or hire boats from here. Wonderful area for walking or cycling, but be aware that the forest's bicycle trails are not well marked and that it is extremely easy to get lost as we did and become an open buffet for the many flying beasts in there.
