Great location. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see and bike rentals for the trip around the lake. It was difficult to find a place to park for check in but not surprising with its prime location. The garage they provide spaces in was very close and convenient. Breakfast was great and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Photo was taken around the corner from the hotel when we arrived, a beautiful place.

The hotel is perfectly situated by the old town and the many good restaurants. It is only a ten minute walk to the train/bus station, and the S4 bus stop is by the hotel if you want to get a brilliant view of Mont Blanc from Semonz des Alpages (nearly 6000 feet)

Location is about as perfect as you will find. We looked at wayyy too many hotels before choosing splendid and I’m 100% we picked the right one for us. It’s perfectly walkable to all of the old town restaurants and shops. It’s maybe 8 minutes walk from the train, and it’s 5 minutes walk to all of the green space around the lake. 15-20 min walk to the plague de imperial lake park, which I highly recommend because it’s 4 euros a person which keeps down the volume of people and keeps out most riffraff as well. The staff was really helpful, esp Jacques, as they recommended a couple fantastic restaurants and their knowledge was great of the area. Only downside is parking is shared with a 6 story spiral bunker parking lot that’s public parking as well. The hotel covers the overnight portion and the guest covers the daytime portion, which is surprisingly cheap (10 euros range) but it can be a pain to find a spot in the evening still. Regardless it’s a great hotel, cold A/C and an ideal location

Hotel room was clean and spacious. Perfectly located right next to the lake and in the heart of the old town. Not many amenities but that was fine since the lake is right there. Highly recommend!

Great location. excellent breakfast buffet. View of lake obstructed by city trees so don't expect a view. Town has lots of tourist. Nice place to spend a couple of days. In planning travel: we came from Dijon which was a long drive. But then went on to Colmar, Crazy mountain roads at least half of the way. Beware not easy driving. Very small room. Don't miss the museum in the Chateau very informative about the history of the lake.Take a boat ride.

Fantastic location being walkable to restaurants, cafes, all the gorgeous sights and the train station. We stayed in a ‘Deluxe room, with lakeside terrace’ - the room was spacious with a comfy bed, good sized bathroom with toiletries and plenty of storage in the bathroom. We loved sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine in the late afternoon watching the world go by below. We had a coffee pod machine and non alcoholic mini bar stocked daily which was a great bonus. Another bonus was the filtered water dispenser on our floor (1st) I’m not sure if there was one on every floor. There was a Monoprix supermarket just around the corner which was handy for supplies. The only negative could be that it was a little noisy having a major road just outside the terrace. It didn’t bother us however this could be a problem if you’re a light sleeper. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel across from the beautiful Lac D’Annecy. Staff were excellent and we had a wonderful stay. Comfortable beds and really nicely decorated rooms. Breakfast was great as well.
