A taxi takes you to the citadel for checking, thats where you have breakfast, etc. Two things to keep in mind about this hotel citadel express are the affordable half of the citadel rarity, and the very high elevation. So the views are stunningly beautiful but you must be ready to walk up and down the very steep cobbled streets. By the way, they are so ugly, and the stairs in the hotel take you to your room. Having said that, this was a pretty nice budget room. Comfortable bed with channels in a variety of languages, including english, a small bathroom with a shower and no shortage of hot water. Clean, scrumptious, highquality towels. The breakfast buffet is included in the linked main hotel, and it includes a variety of coffee, yogurt, cereals, a few hot dishes, regional breads, cheeses, cold cuts, and fruit, enough to get the day started. And those views out the window! You are on the edge of the old city, above the river, above Bethlemi Street, overlooking churches and rooftops. It's really stunning. But to get there, you've got to be prepared to walk.

Two important things to keep in mind while staying at this hotel Citadel Express are its low cost half the citadel rarity, so a taxi transports you to the citadel for checkin, and when you eat breakfast, etc. It is located very, very high in the air, on a steep hill, just under the citadel. So the views are beautiful, but you must be prepared to walk up and down very steep cobbled streets. By the way, the cobbles are very rough and slippery, and the hotel has stairs to get to your room. Having been said, this was a pleasant low-cost room. Comfortable bed, with channels in multiple languages, including English, a small bathroom with a shower stall, and no shortage of hot water. Clean towels of high quality. The breakfast buffet is included in the adjacent main hotel and includes plenty of coffee, yoghurt, cereals, several hot dishes as well as regional bread, cheeses, cold cuts, and fruit, enough to get the day started. And those views outside the window! You are at the edge of the old city, above the river, above Bethlemi street, looking out to churches and rooftops. Very beautiful. However, you have to be prepared to walk to get there.
