We stayed at this family-run hotel for a long weekend. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and check-in went smoothly and quickly. Our room was ready even though we arrived before noon, which was extremely appreciated. We stayed in room 2 downstairs. The room was really large and well-furnished. Breakfast is served in good condition starting at 8:30. We booked our room with half board. Dinner is served around 18:45. The food is excellent and well-prepared. Very nice place to go for long walks. We traveled with our dog, who was welcome at an additional charge. I will undoubtedly return to this lovely hotel!.

Landmass Astenrose is a 15 minute drive from Winterberg. It rises on 750 m. The location of the hotel is lovely, and because it is almost at the highest point of the region, the view is stunning. The true highest point in Sauerland kill fasten is just a minute walk away. The main walking route rothaarsteig passes past the motel. So if you are here for walking, you are in the right place. The motel itself is small. It contains 10 rooms. The rooms are very well appointed and of good dimensions. Cleaning was very good and the room was well maintained. No bath, just a shower. Only german channels are available. Very good breakfast. a lot of options. The hotel also offers free WiFi and has a sauna that is free of use if you stay 3 nights or longer. With shorter stays the sauna charge is 8. You can also enjoy dinner at the hotel. The main course costs about 25 dollars and the menu is at a cullinary higher level. Free parking after 18.00 is available at Winterberg. It is a familyrun business, so the hosts have a passion for the business. You are feeling that

We stayed in a spacious luxury room with a beautiful outlook of the countryside for 4 days. The owners were very friendly and welcoming us. They serve a very good variety of breakfasts. The best meal was served with delicious wines. We will come back.

We stayed in a standard room for 2 nights. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean, as were the facilities in the bathroom. The view was of the forest and garden. The morning sun rays entered through the window. Service is really excellent, all your requirements are met. Also, the location is a good starting point for hiking. The restaurant is reasonably good, with better food and an atmosphere than the nearby town Winterberg. Improvements The wifi connection is terrible, it quickly drops out and requires religion. Breakfast is served at 830 am, which is late for those who want to hike or run early. Breakfast can be served earlier on request.
