We stayed on the King Ludwig trail for one night. The hotel itself is quite old-fashioned, as is the rooms and restroom, but it is clean and comfortable. We had breakfast here, which was good compared to other hotels we had been to along the trail.

Stayed for 14 days. No hot water, no internet in the room, dining room fine breakfast, no vegetables service, cold staff early morning wakeup with constant noise bad smell of heating system in the room cancellation very strict 1, traffic from Munich during baum expo small fitness room little English spoken by staff.

After spending time in Munich, my wife and I remained here. Before leaving for Salzburg, we needed a restover in the Chimsee region. Our room was the end of the annex, below, and corridor room. We had hot water, and it was tidy. Fortunately, there were no party-hardy idiots close by, despite the thin walls. The included breakfast consisted of ham, cheese, eggs, yogurts with toppings, bread, and tasty coffee. The receptionist was cheerful and spoke English. The previous evening, we had supper at the restaurant, which is very clean and attractively organized with candles and a fresh flower on each table. The entrees cost 1025. Because the waiters don't speak much English, perform some menu analysis before making your order because you may get a portion of the pig you might not have wanted. We chose a healthy sauerbraten that was generous and delicious. The chiemsee ferry terminal is roughly a 20-minute drive away. Not great when you're asleep, but possible.

I would give the hotel seeblick a 3.5 out of 5, because it definitely is better than 3, but not really 4. Our visit here was for business reasons, where tourists frequently go to unwind, cycle, or go hiking. It's a 3-star hotel of the usual kind in the region, managed by the proprietor. The hotel viewblick is directly adjacent to a small lake. The rooms are clean, but some have seen some modernization. Although the bathrooms are clean, the rooms still retain the elegance of the 1970 s. The restaurant serves traditional Bavarian fare, and the food is of excellent quality.

We spent the night here with my wife after our transfer from Munich. We needed a rest in the chiemsee region before traveling to Salzburg. Our suite was on the second floor, bottom floor, and terrace room. It was spotless, and we had hot water. Fortunately, there weren't many partyhardy fools nearby, and the walls are thin. The included breakfast was typically teutonic and delicious, with ham, cheeses, eggs, yogurts with toppings, breads, and excellent coffee. The receptionist was a cheerful and polite english. The previous evening, we had dinner in the eatery, which has a lovely view of the tiny lake across the street and is quite clean, nicely decorated with candles and a fresh flower at every table. The cost of the entrees is 1025. Since the waiters don't speak much English, you may be given a portion of the pig you may not have desired. We made a delicious, secure sauerbraten meal. The chiemsee ferry terminal is about a 20-minute drive away. It isn't ideal when you're asleep, but it's manageable.

We travel to the area, which is often visited by tourists for business purposes and is usually used to unwind, cycle, and go hiking, and the hotel seeblick is located immediately across from a small lake. It is a privately owned, three-star typical regional middle class hotel. The rooms are tidy, and some of the amenities have been slightly renovated. The restrooms retain the 1970 s-era charm, but the rooms are clean. The restaurant serves typical regional Bavarian meals, and the food is of good quality. The hotel seeblick receives 3. 5 points overall, which is a better than 3, but not really 4. I wholeheartedly advise this hotel for a 12 night stay because of its affordable pricing.
