Das Zimmer war sauber und gut eingerichtet. Die Einweisung bei der Ankunft war sehr umfangreich, was der besonderen Lage des Hotels in der Altstadt geschuldet ist. Unter anderem was das Parken betrifft und wer das Hotel fürs Wochenende bucht sollte keinen leichten Schlaf haben. In direkter Nähe sind mehrere Clubs die für Beschallung sorgen.

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Hotelbesitzer. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber und angenehm hell und modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist ausreichend und preislich angemessen. Das Parken auf den hoteleigenen Parkplätzen fand ich ebenfalls günstig. Etliche Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Für die Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Altstadt ist bei meinem Aufenthalt der Geräuschpegel unterhalb der Arbeitswoche recht ruhig gewesen. Man sollte bedenken, daß sich das Hotel nicht im idyllischen Grünen befindet, sondern mitten in der Stadt. Insofern ist es sehr akzeptabel und meine persönliche Empfehlung für einen Aufenthalt in Mönchengladbach.

Arrived late at around midnight and got key by ringing the bell, exactly as agreed in my telephone call with hotel. Dog allowed, parking available in this centrally located hotel in Monchengladbach. People talking in surrounding street late in evening and still when I got up around 6.30; it was quiet in room though. Room and the whole hotel seemed recently renovated, decorated. Room was spacious and very clean, good bed, with welcome bottle of water. Bathroom very clean as well, but getting hot water in right proportion to cold takes a bit of trial and error with the electric boiler. It did work in the end, just make sure the water jet is strong enough. Friendly owners. Surrounding area is mainly bars etc, but there is also a park with pond, excellent to walk the dog. There is a cozy breakfast room, but I did not use it.
