I would definitely recommend this place. We recently spent a couple of nights here. We found the staff very pleasant and helpful, we didn't try the restaurant or breakfast but it seemed good. The rooms were a good size, clean, with a comfortable bed and a great shower and bathroom. Excellent location in the heart of the old town.

I came to Heidelberg for the beautiful christmas markets. Very welcome hotel in a perfect location in Aldstadt with clean and comfortable rooms. Huge and contemporary bathroom facilities. Recommended.

It is highly advised to scream! We booked the lastminute for 99 euros, but I wish we could have had this hotel room the whole journey! We had room 408. By European standards, it was enormous and had a view of the street. Checkin is at the restaurant and then you can use the stairs or an elevator to get to your room. The restaurant and hotel are very lovely. We were unable to eat a full meal as it was almost 10 pm when we arrived, but we decided to share the cheese platter and glasses of wine. Our bill was 50 euros, half the price of the room! However, I wish we could have tried a meal at some point. We parked in a public parking lot about a 5-minute walk away. I believe about 16 euros for the night.

Very friendly hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Unfortunately, it was impossible to get any sleep before 2 or 3 am because it was located in the old town. I heard voices both outside and inside the hotel. Not recommended for sleep.

The service here was so excellent, especially when I saw the menu and atmosphere in Whisper Back. It's a traditional German restaurant but the service is really nice. And then, the food was so good. After that, the cuisine here was really varied, such as seasonal foods and local ingredients.
