Close to the beautiful village of Sasbachwald. In the middle of the vineyard. It is very quiet and well-maintained. Besides that, the staff is extremely pleasant and clean. Finally, the swimming pool is open.

The comfort room was okay, but the bathroom needed some renovation, the door from my shower couldn't close. The hotel is isolated and very peaceful. The sauna was small, but clean. There is a swimming pool but not a restaurant. To enjoy a hot meal, you have to drive to the village.

The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the village in a very calm area. The double rooms with a valley outlook are beautiful. We did appreciate the friendly service, good breakfast, the indoor pool and the saunas there are two one inside and another outside. They are not the best cushions.

The staff is fantastic. However, some room information is in English and some English is spoken. A beautiful oldstyle room that overlooked mountains and vineyards. They have themes, mine was lavender. The bathroom was modern but very small. Because the whole hotel is quite rickety and moving around makes a lot of noise, you must go all in for quiet enjoyment e. I., after 10 pm showers are banned. The hotel has a small indoor pool, sauna, and lounge where you can get complimentary coffee and cakes and drinks from the fridge on an honour system, including local wines. The lounge has views, but you can take drinks out to the lovely terrace. Breakfast is good, a fairly simple continental spread. The hotel is a steep walk from the town center and what a lovely town it is, which may be useful after the huge meals at local restaurants. It is close to walking routes, especially take the road past gastehaus roach which may have better views as it looks all the way to the shine valley, although this might just remind you that your not very far from civilization and will quickly get to the top of the waterfalls, from where you can start the 10 km circle path around Sasbachwalden or walk down through the waterfalls and 13 bridges to the town center. The black forest high road is a short drive east, hornisgrinde is less than a half hour

I chose this hotel again because it's a great way to get away from daily stresses. The hotel is located away from the small city center, so if planning a dinner there consider moving up and down. But on the way you can find some Schnapps self services to recharge your batteries.The rooms are perfectly clean and organized in detail like a country house. everything is a sign of attention to detail.
