The staff at this hotel was extremely welcoming and very nice, even though they didn't know I had to bring my own. They provide breakfast which is specially designed for my gluten-free diet. The room was so comfortable and shabby and has a wonderful design.

Friendly, cozy, and quiet place, right next to the change. I wouldn't want to see dust balls scattered about the floor at the end of the day. I would recommend it, at a slightly lower price.

We just spent six nights in this gem of a place. Very friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, and excellent value for money. Excellent location, a few minutes from the U-Bob and a wide variety of restaurants in the neighborhood as well as some interesting little shops.

I came across the schlaflounge by accident. Always checking TripAdvisor and looking for something unique from the norm, I came across this place. The central location, minutes away from the barn, and around 10 minutes from the well-known schanzenviertel, was perfect. We traveled in our own vehicle and got lucky to park right in front of the house. As the place is in a residential area, you may have to park a bit further away, depending on your arrival time. Our room had a window facing the backyard which made it less noisy, but because it is a residential area, noise is not entirely avoided. All in all, a positive experience. It was really clean, the beds were comfy, and the bathroom was nice. Without a hair dryer, it wouldn't have been ideal. We had a good experience with the prompt replies via email and pleasant service during our stay. We did not eat their breakfast, but it looked nice. One minor difference, if you are an international traveler, they do accept credit cards, but they charge an extra 3 fee. So if you want to avoid this, bring cash or ec card. What you see on their website is what you get, no need to add more photos.
