When we were traveling through the area, we only stayed here one night. The hotel appears to have recently renovated its rooms. The room we had was lovely, big, and bright, with a tiny balcony. The location was immaculate. We would suggest a small winery just down the street by a few doors. They are not open on Monday and Tuesday, but otherwise, I believe it to be open from early afternoon onwards. It is called Weight Weinstube these at Bruckenstr. 52. The proprietor speaks excellent English and loves seeing tourists. They serve cheap prices and light meals. To take along on the remainder of our trip, we purchased a few bottles of wine. I would absolutely suggest this hotel to a friend and will stay there again if I go there.

As are most european motels, they are clean and tidy. We valued free parking and wifi and they were helpful. We had a street view in our room, which was helpful at night and early in the morning while trying to sleep. In the beer garden, we had wine, and it was a great setting. The hotel has a restaurant, but we didn't try it because there were many locals there, which speaks for itself for the cuisine and ambiance. If that's a problem for you, you might want to look for another hotel if it's a problem. In other words, a fantastic overnight stop on our way from south to north.

I rode him down the model radweg for a great price in the village of Schweich. Worth it. Old building with all new rooms. Nice room with good size, close to center and several great restaurants nearby. Bright and clean bathroom. On a bike trail slightly north of model radweg with good safe bike storage. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. A very good night at a reasonable price. Excellent breakfast with lots of food options available.

A friendly woman from an upstairs balcony welcomed us and asked us in as we parked. The entrance was not immediately obvious, but we found our way to the first floor reception where the same woman welcomed us. Our room was very spacious, modern, spotlessly clean, and comfortable with three different types of chairs: table, desk, closet, to, and minibar. Wifi was good. Unfortunately, there are no tea or coffee making facilities, but this is common in Germany. The bed was spacious and very comfortable, although we could have done with two pillows should have requested it. I do love these German beds, which have two single mattresses in one frame. So much space! The shower room was also good. Our room was on the side of the hotel, and we could hear the very busy road without having the windows closed at night. The hotel itself was very quiet, and we were on the second floor. There is no guest lounge. Breakfast was standard, I asked for soya milk but was told no, we only have normal milk. It's always a good sign that the hotel has a restaurant that is buzzing! We didn't eat there, but we went out for a walk and discovered many restaurants in town, including an ice cream parlor! Something for everyone.
