The hotel location was so strategic because it faces the beach and also up a steep hill. After that, the breakfast was so good with so many options, and the staff was so helpful when I needed help.

This is my honest review of my four nights in this hotel. It's about a two-minute walk from the beach, shops, bars, and restaurants to the hotel, but it's up a steep hill. We are fit and able and we were exhausted when we got to the top. Then we had to climb two flights of stairs to get to our room because the elevator only goes to the first level. So if you have a physical disability of any kind this is not the hotel for you. The room was nice, although the restroom only needed a bit of tacky, nothing major. It would have been nice to have a screen instead of a shower curtain, but the jets in the bath were a lovely touch! We had a deluxe seaview without a jacuzzi, and the view was incredible! There was a fridge and a hair dryer, but no kettle or water bottles. The hotel itself is lovely. Spotless! Nice decor, pool is nice with comfy pool beds, there is a pool bar open during the day I believe until around rp? Nice drinks, simple but nice bar snacks best fries I've ever had! On our first day, she came and spoke to us and recommended many things to do and places to go. It was beautiful, I don't have to say that the indoor spa pool did not look very inviting. Breakfast is

The positive sides are the tiny size room and the old concept. There is a small bar restaurant near the pool and some basic food and it looks ok with the cold concept. The bill is not like a hotel with a nice ambience. They served a limited menu and the bed was very small. The room was so unclean. I didn't use it at all. The room size was too small with a very old design. Then, the pool was so cold, especially the bill and the club sandwich.

We would return to the epavlis? I don't think so. Just returned from a fantastic week at the epavlis. First, I was dropped off by the town's shuttle minibus, which takes about a quarter of a mile uphill to the hotel, armed with cases. I was a little irritated when I noticed other minibuses of the same size going right up to the hotel entrance. We arrived around rp, and a sad guy showed us to our room and didn't see grin on us throughout the vacation. We were given a deluxe room with a private jacuzzi, a sea view, a balcony, or terrace. There was no private ledge to the so-called private jacuzzi outside the front door, which was in full view of the rooms facing the neighboring hotel and the sister hotel next door. We had a tiny balcony facing the jacuzzi and another area of the pool. The sunrise was very wonderful every day, and the sea view was very beautiful. Breakfast consisted of eggs, ham, cheese, ratatouille, spinach in pastry, fruit, and cereals. Despite the negative evaluations of the lady manager, we found her helpful and even got a grin out of her! It goes without saying that this hotel doesn't have much atmosphere

We spent the first week in September, and our initial impression wasnt great since the jet dropped us off at the bottom of a very steep gravel road. Nightmare with suitcases at midnight. Im not sure why, there is a car park halfway up the hill, which is definitely for their convenience, but Id definitely book a private transfer! We had a deluxe room with a plunge pool on the patio, it was very traditional in style, of reasonable size, immaculately clean, and had a really comfortable bed. We stopped breakfast because there was virtually nothing for us at breakfast because we are glutenaverse vegetarians, so we chose a breakfast in the village. We never stayed by the pool, but it was clean and quiet. Not sure what the negative thing about the staff is about, everyone was polite and helpful with us. There are many steps and walking, but I think it did me some good by the end of the week.

About Epavlis Hotel & Spa

The hotel is situated at the foot of the mountain where ancient Thira is also found. One of the best known beaches of Santorini, Kamari, is within walking distance of the hotel.
