The hotel is family-run and very accommodating. A decent basic Greek hotel. The hotel is conveniently close to the supermarket, local eateries, the beach, and the main road, while still being close enough from the highway to not get annoyed by traffic noise. The pool is a decent size, narrow, and shallow, perfect for swimmers who are not very confident. All of the sunbeds that have been refurbished this year are excellent and comfortable. The pool is complemented by a bar with a restaurant serving delicious meals and beverages at reasonable prices. The standard rooms on the I and I option this year have all been fitted with fridges and a kettle, which is a great bonus. Orange juice, bread, ham, cheese, jam, and boiled eggs, which are alternating with peaches and yogurt, are excellent breakfast. A toaster is not provided, but it would be a large plus. All towels are changed every day, except for Sundays, which may be a bit odd for some people.

I reserve this hotel for a mistake! I was looking for a hotel when I came across anthoula, but before I could reserve it, my air conditioning had taken away. I went back to it, searched again, and found what I thought was the anthoula, making reservations there. I remember reading that it was on a hill, but when I arrived in Befalls, the driver stopped right next to the beach and pointed out this hotel. Athinoula! I'm glad I made a mistake. This was lovely and run by a lovely family, and the room was simple but well-furnished and tidy. Shower was adequate but, as with most Greek hotels, there was only a shower curtain so the water didn't keep it from entering, but hey, it was OK, the room was a tiny wet room, so no worries there. Breakfast was normal continental, usually, ham, bread, coffee, juice, yoghurt, boiled eggs, and ham. mythos 2. There is lots of room around the pool, but perhaps in other circumstances and times, it can get crowded. My only complaint was the additional cost for the much needed air conditioning. We remained anonymous because unthoula is a 4-star hotel, but we never worried about what we were going to find, and even though they were a bit small, the rooms were clean and offered fantastic views of Befall. The breakfasts were adequate, if not a touch repetitive. Unthoula, the boss, Anastasia, and Angie, the housekeeper, were outstanding and extremely helpful, and the staff was without a doubt the greatest aspect of this hotel. The pool area was excellent, with plenty of beds, and a fantastic pool bar for snacks and beverages. The bedrooms, while a little small, were spotless, and offered wonderful views of Befalls. The rooms were immaculately clean, and the view over the resort was breathtaking.

Although my daughter and I visited this place in June, we felt wet and tired. There isn't much to do in the town, and the environment is rather quiet. The Athinoula was lovely, with a lovely pool, a snack bar, and gorgeous sunshine. The family who run the hotel was amiable and the rooms were simple but tidy. There aren't many places we could have found to be worthwhile to see. Some lovely restaurants are nearby, but nothing like other resorts we've visited. If I'm honest, we wouldn't go back if it were free! If you prefer a busy vacation, this region of cos isn't for you, but if you like peace and quiet and little else, youll adore it.

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel, and to be honest, I would not book a hotel with only two stars, but this is the exception. The hotel is very clean, the room was cleaned every day, except on Sunday, and the towels were changed every day. The reception area stroke bar is very friendly, and evi her husband, nani who runs the bar, has an unbelievable sense of humour. It has a large swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds, and the pool bar has a good selection of snacks and drinks. We made a lot of new friends on our two visits. The majority of the guests were there both times. Because most of them had been returning year after year, occasionally twice a year, all of the guests appeared to know each other. It is a family run hotel and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Its a particularly good place to stay if you want to make new friends, my partner and I will probably be back in September. Thank you for helping us have a wonderful relaxing vacation, Brian angie.
