Very nice new hotel. Rooms are spacious with excellent decor. Also the lobby and eating area is very well laid out with plenty of spaces to lounge about. Breakfast was great too. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is new and beautiful. Ample parking outside and across the street from some shops, including grocery store. Our room (room 210) was very spacious and the bathroom was big with a huge tub. The breakfast spread was good with cereals, eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, pastries, etc. Definitely enough to fill you up in the morning. We also ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious (steak meal). We picked this spot to be closer to the attractions in the south/south east and to hopefully have a better chance of clear, dark skies to see the northern lights. Following the aurora app we drove about 10 minutes away and were able to capture the northern lights. This was such a nice hotel and great area to be in. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m back.

Breakfast was very good, self serve coffee machines were a nice touch. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Happy hour was a nice touch and a good way to have a glass of wine and a beer and relax in the lobby. Rooms were very clean, although a little warm even in the cold weather! We definitely recommend staying at the Hotel Lóa and we will stay again on our next trip! The rooms are simple, comfortable and beautiful and very clean.

The hotel is pretty new with modern design. The room is bright and clean. The shower is very comfortable. The breakfast is one of the best I have had in Iceland. I would definitely stay in the same hotel in the future.
