Great bathrooms! Shower had good water pressure and plenty of room to move around. The bed was comfortable and long enough for my 6 foot frame. Easy to find and close to eateries. Close to gas stations and grocers.

We had an incident regarding the smoke detector when we had to call the manager. They were really kind and immediately responded to our needs and the local area is just wonderful. There are grocery shops nearby and the location of the house is quite suit suitable for the trip to other nearby places. This is the best guesthouse by far in Iceland.

這是一家專供背包客的小旅館，房間蠻多間的，房東不會出現在此(除非有問題) 進房與退房都是交由房客自行處裡(須確保有收到房東寄出的信內有包含大門的密碼) 餐廳很乾淨該有的裝備都有而且都能自由使用，廁所以及衛浴共有兩間可已使用，避免其他房客霸佔造成困擾，很喜歡這個小巧可愛的guest house

Such a pretty house - we love it! Comfy bed and pillow. Close to gas station and Netto. Our 1st night of spotting the northern light was in Egilsstadir near the camping ground.

This is my first stay in a guesthouse. This is a great experience. We took some bonding with the other guests and cooked dinner together. They are comfortable and safe. Great place to stay if you are passing through the small town of Elevsstadir.

I spent one night here hoping to see the northern lights. As we checked in, the owner informed us, and despite having all the necessary information already found in the rooms' booklets, he gave us suggestions for where to go camping to see. Though the guesthouse was fully booked, we were able to take turns to prepare dinner even though we ate in one of our rooms because other people wanted to cook. According to the number of guests, the rooms are furnished with a kettle, refrigerator, a table, and chairs. To keep the location tidy, guests must take off their shoes in front. Olga is a highly recommended guesthouse.

The breakfast package in the refrigerator was very good, one of the better breakfasts we had in iceland. The ownermanager welcomed us and helped us with dinner suggestions since we weren't cooking. The hotel on the lake was a short walk away, so we had a lovely meal.

I confess my bias I come from British Columbia, and am used to forests. I fell in love once more with trees that were taller than me after days of rock and lava that were really appealing in their own way. After a late afternoon stroll through egilstaddir, I felt at ease again in a wooded area with hospitable people and gemutlich architecture. The guest house itself is gemutlich or pleasant and cheerful, especially the host who gave us a warm welcome after a long journey. It felt as comfortable inside as it appeared outside. There are various types of rooms. We had two rooms here, both of which were pleasant, tidy, and well equipped with a small fridge, table, and whatever else you need but not crowded. Not only do you need to prepare a simple meal, but also a communal kitchen that guests can use. There are towels and bathrobes shared in the bathroom. Breakfasts that were left in the refrigerator with the room number can be ordered the following morning. There is ample variety and quantity. We had stayed in excellent accommodations that were very well equipped and more expensive. This changed into a peaceful, comfortable change, accentuated by tree views, in my opinion. If we were in the area, we would back without a doubt.

Leider haben wir den Code zum Zugang des Hauses nicht erhalten. Zum Glück kam jedoch zeitgleich mit uns der Eigentümer und hat uns ins Haus gelassen. Die Buchung über Expedia hat somit nicht gut geklappt. Die Unterkunft hat jedoch dafür überzeugt. Es hatte alles was man brauchte, war ordentlich und nett eingerichtet.

Tout s'est bien passé car tout est bien préparé mais on ne voit personne. C'est bien dommage, aucun contact humain. Il faut se déchausser dans l'entrée, très petite et peu commode, mettre au moins un tabouret ! Pas de lavabo dans la chambre mais très proche dans le couloir. Pas de rideaux occultants . Bon petit déjeuner.
