We stayed at Silverstar a few years back and decided to stay again during our most recent visit to Herald. The rooms are basic and clean however, the mattresses and pillows are beginning to peel off and be worn. The manager can be a little in your face when it comes to providing food, tours, and other stuff and is difficult to avoid because he always sits by the entrance gate, but he is nice and helpful enough. Because there are currently so many places to stay in the area, haggling for the best price is very simple, however, be sure to get the final price in writing. There were no hotels in the area during high season. The silverstar recently added a small pool in the courtyard. I used it once, but I had a pretty nasty skin infection. Although the pool seemed to be clean, I expect there was a correlation.

Excellent service. Wonderful sea food, a quiet location within walking distance of the beach. Stunning nightlife. Friendly hoping. inexpensive tour trips. A magical dinner on the surprise beach.

We felt that she was attempting to take advantage of us, which was what we felt. In January 2011, my boyfriend and I stayed at the Silverstar Hotel. It turned out that we had made a mistake after rebooting and prepaid for a week for a room. We could have stayed in a nicer hotel for much less because the hotel was so exorbitantly expensive. That's what we did for the remaining two weeks of our stay in Koala. The accommodation was straightforward but adequate. Large bed with firm mattresses. Although the manager was kind, the lady who runs the hotel gave me a strange wife. She meanwhile tried to convince me to pay more while telling me I had only paid for one persons stay in a double room when we pulled out after the week-long visit. Fortunately, I had the contract she had sent me printed out and had to admit that I was mistaken.

Silverstar Hotel is the second time we visited the hotel! The staff are very kind and accommodating. Every second day a room is cleaned. It is only a 5-minute walk to the beach. The menu from the cook is very good. The rooms are a little pricey, but the prices are now lower! Nice garden with a cozy pool!
