This place is very undiscovered. Nevertheless, the views are gorgeous, and you can enjoy a beautiful sunset here. The owner, Maron, is a very kind and pleasant person. The food is amazing, and the taste is delicious. Excellent value for money. I will definitely come back to this place.

I highly recommend this location if you want to get away from the busier, more commercial side of Bali. After a few disappointing days in legion and bud, I spent four nights here with my family in late July. I adored this east bali region, and I cannot express how much I value it, and I had a wonderful time at Abalone. We had one of the villa's self-contained bedrooms downstairs and upstairs. Perfect for a family of four, and really lovely. Absolutely perfect. Great pool area right on the shore, and a lovely dining room restaurant again overlooking the bay. Excellent place with lovely German and Indonesian hosts. The beaches were not as appealing or swimming as those elsewhere during our visit, but I'm not a beach person! Anyway, there are some beautiful secluded white sand beaches just a few miles to the north of Candidate and south of Padangbai for those who want beaches.

Really good beachside restaurant, food is delicious, affordable and table service is good. However, the complex is tired and rundown and needs to be cleaned up and tended by a gardener.

I went to this restaurant with my family, 2 adults, and 2 children. The food is excellent, the prices are less expensive than other restaurants, and the selection is wider. The restaurant owner is a German woman and her Balinese husband, and it is located on the shore. We found this restaurant accidentally while strolling along the beach from our hotel.
