We came here to get away from the tourist path and have a great experience thanks to gede and his team! Its the only place to stay in this area, so expect real balinese. The people are so friendly! Gede took us to a celebration at the nearby temple so they borrowed us a complete balinese outfit to fit perfectly and we felt really comfortable. And thats even more enjoyable with the best view from my room ever. Green rice fields are everywhere. Suksama gede!.

Upon arriving at Candra Cottage, we were greeted with a warm smile & welcome from Prescilla & her small family and it automatically felt like family, literally! The room was simple and clean, the bed - big & comfy, the views were unsurpassed and the breakfast - think 5 star Indonesian fare with all the trimmings. No detail was spared, recommendations were readily available and overall - the entire experience has definitely created a return client in me. Thank you for everything ❤️😊

I can’t recommend Candra Cottage enough. I wanted to experience authentic Bali and definitely got the chance to here. The host, Gede, made my stay extra special. He picked me up from the airport and drove me around to all of the sites I wanted to see. As a solo female traveler, I couldn’t have felt more comfortable spending the day with someone. He was kind, generous, and protective. He told me about an orphanage he volunteers for because I’m a teacher and then took me there the following day when I requested to spend some time with the kids. The view from the balcony of the hotel was the best I’d seen in Bali, and the breakfast and dinner were great as well. I only wish I could have spent more time there. Thank you Gede!

We stayed at candra cottage for 7 nights in north bal because of its lovely wraparound balcony and 5 star views. It was so amazing to watch sunsets from our deck and see the pink sky at sunrise over the mountains behind us. We had room number 1, which is the best in my opinion. It is run by a lovely couple, Priscila and putu who were very responsive and even helped us with transportation when we left for east java. The included breakfast added to the value of our stay and our room was large and airy with a comfortable bed. A bonus is also that we were able to rent a scooter directly from candra cottage at a good price. Priscila can even make meals from a set menu and sells ice cold beer so convenient! I would stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing change from the busier areas of bal.

We had a wonderful stay at candra cottage! The location is in a small mountain village and the views are breathtaking. The rooms are large, modern and clean, and the bathroom is fairly basic (but with a toilet and warm shower). The service was excellent, and manager gede, a very friendly man, is available as a guide (but ask early if there are other guests). Gede and his staff make you feel at home and help you with all your questions. They serve good food and you can rent a scooter to explore the area. We had the great fortune to be invited to a traditional balinese offering ceremony at the nearby temple, which was a very unique experience. If you want to get away from tourists, like munduk, and experience the authentic rural balinese way of life, this is the place for you.

Amazing homestay in the mountains. Quiet, peaceful, and beautiful place. Umejero is away from tourist roads (8 km from Munduk), but has an amazing view of the mountains, rice terrace, and the sea. You can see the sunset and sunrise from the house. We had the best room in the cottage on the second floor and enjoyed it for 3 days. Breakfast is large and delicious, you can also order a good lunch or dinner with chicken or pork. Unfortunately, gede no longer works here, but his nephew putuh and his wife Priscilla do their best to feel like home. Putuh shows me the umejero waterfall and together with guys we had an amazing christmas dinner.

Sarapan yang disertakan lezat dan berlimpah: nasi goreng, buah, pisang goreng, dan minuman panas. Priscilla akan membuat Anda merasa nyaman. Dia secara autentik berbagi kehidupan Bali dan akan dapat memberi Anda saran tentang berbagai aktivitas yang tidak boleh Anda lewatkan di wilayah tersebut (air terjun, sawah, perkebunan kopi dan cengkeh). Pricilla and her family are the ideal hosts, not only is it the ideal location because it is surrounded by rice fields, but they also respect your privacy and are there for you whenever you need something. We tried the weddingcostume and makeup photos and were impressed with pricillas beauty studio and her professionalism. You made our honeymoon perfect, thank you so much!.

Our stay at candra cottage was perfect. Gede is a wonderful man with great hospitality. He spent a hole day with us, took us around the great spots in the area, and gave us a balinese cooking class. Pemandangannya luar biasa indah berkat lokasinya yang tinggi! Pasangan tuan rumah sangat membantu dan menawan! Bangun pagi dengan pemandangan sawah, mantap! Dua kursi santai di luar ruangan sangat cocok untuk bersantai, hanya ada kursi dan meja. Sayangnya, malam hari kurang sepi (tetangga mendengar musik keras, ayam, anjing, dan skuter terdengar keras, tetapi tuan rumah tidak bisa berbuat apa-apa.
