The atmosphere here is very pleasant as the setting is friendly and with a good location in the middle of the street and a beautiful garden. Besides that, the place is nice for a family with a convenient location because it has an internal parking space but also the rooms are quiet in the garden. In the room, I have a big and proper room. There is plenty of really hot water, which is hard to find in more remote areas of Sulawesi. No air conditioning, just drying it makes sense. And then, the breakfast was fresh and at a very reasonable price, after that, I also got to help with all the promotions. For the staff, it is nice to have a friendly staff. Do not worry about the touts coming in.

We have a nice stay here for two nights. The room is very big and clean. Although we are in a non-ac room only fan, the weather in Raja was cool so no problem. Breakfast is good with local home cuisine, tea and coffee. Toilet seats cracked, all security is very important.

The rooms at the Maharaja Hotel are dull, 8 double king-size beds, 8 twin beds, and spacious rooms with hot showers. This hotel is within walking distance of the City Center of Rantepao, but all in this area.

We booked 3 nights by our tour guide but we had to leave after the night. The exterior is beautiful and very authentic. The inside needs some maintenance. Excellent hot shower but leaky. No a. I. or fan, very noisy from the traffic outside.

I stayed at Maharaja 4 nights. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Bathroom with hot water and tube. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is probably the most healthy in Rajput. Ordered fried rice which is much better than toast. It comes with fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juice. Motorbikes are too expensive to rent, I recommend having one as the location is a bit out of maintenance.
