I had a fantastic stay at this serene and quaint hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful, the sheets were clean and had a pleasant scent. I appreciated the unique touch of an outdoor bathroom and the use of sustainable materials throughout. However, the breakfast taste was a bit bland. A suggestion would be to consider adding rubber head protectors at the top edge of the petite door openings for guests unfamiliar with Javanese houses, preventing accidental bumps.

Tema Javanese. Semua unsur dan gaya Jowo ada di sini. Yang ingin menenangkan diri dari hiruk pikuk kota bisa menjadi alternatif. Suara burung-burungnya persis dan benar-benar terasa nyerocos. Kamar mandi ada 2, 1 di dalam dan 1 di luar ruangan (yang ini alam banget, seger mandi di bawah langit dan matahari pagi). Hanya saja di malam hari agak remang, bisa ditambahkan penerangan di beberapa titik agar lebih terang benderang. Pokoknya penuh dengan rasa jawa. Ada juga kolam renang dan setiap kamar memiliki mainan tradisional bernama dakon. Jadi staycation sekaligus belajar budaya!

Tempat ini memiliki suasana yang unik, etnik, dan eksotis. Meskipun memiliki nuansa pedesaan Jawa tempo dulu, namun tetap memiliki nuansa modern dari segi fasilitas dan layanan. Menikmati konser muzik (saat itu sedang ada konser muzik orkestra), belajar sejarah (karena ada museumnya), dan bermalam dalam suasana rumah tradisional. Pengalaman yang luar biasa yang mungkin sulit ditemukan padanannya.

Saya pernah berkunjung ke sini untuk melihat salah satu acara musik yang diselenggarakan di Tembi Rumah Budaya. Tempat ini cocok untuk dijadikan tempat pagelaran musik kamar atau pentas kecil, suasananya khas dengan berbagai koleksi barang yang bisa dilibatkan dan dibaca. Akses dari jalan mudah, parkir motor dan mobil juga luas.

Rumah Budaya Tembi memang harus mengurangi tenaga setelah Covid, menyederhanakan menu makanan, dan sebagainya. Namun, suasana tradisional Jawa tetap luar biasa dan tidak terkalahkan, termasuk detail kecil seperti dessert Jawa sebagai penutup sarapan. Vila-vila khas Jawa tetap luar biasa. Kami tetap memberikan bintang lima sambil berdoa agar Rumah Budaya Tembi segera pulih dan menjadi lebih luar biasa seperti sebelum Covid pada masa kejayaannya sebelum Covid.

Hotel nyaman dengan suasana alam jogja yang sederhana dan tenang. Mengenalkan budaya jogja mulai dari seni rupa, tari dan gamelan. Ada banyak menu spesial yang sayang untuk dilewatkan, seperti menu empritnya yang haucek. Kolam renang yang nyaman dan kembali ke alam di pinggir sawah membuat kita betah berendam dan main air lebih lama. Jika ke jogja, saya sarankan untuk menginap di sini saja. Suasana dan Arsitektur Begitu memasuki gerbang Tembi, atmosfer langsung berubah. Anda akan disambut dengan deretan rumah kayu tradisional (Limasan dan Joglo) yang otentik. Setiap rumah memiliki nama dan karakter unik, bukan sekadar nomor kamar. Lingkungannya sangat asri, dikelilingi taman yang terawat dan berbatasan langsung dengan hamparan sawah hijau yang menyejukkan mata. 2. Pengalaman Menginap (Kamar) Menginap di sini terasa seperti pulang ke rumah nenek di desa, namun dengan fasilitas yang tetap nyaman. Kamarnya luas, bersih, dan wangi kayu yang khas memberikan efek relaksasi instan. Tempat tidurnya nyaman dengan kelambu yang menambah kesan romantis sekaligus fungsional. Yang paling berkesan adalah teras pribadinya—duduk di sana pagi hari sambil menyesap teh hangat adalah momen yang tak ternilai. 3. Berenang sore hari sambil melihat matahari terbenam dan petani pulang dari sawah adalah pengalaman yang magis. * Museum Rumah Budaya: Di sini tersimpan koleksi peralatan tradisional Jawa yang sangat edukatif. * Aktivitas Luar Ruangan: Pihak hotel bisa mengatur kegiatan seperti naik dokar keliling desa, belajar membatik, hingga bertani. Sangat cocok untuk keluarga yang membawa anak-anak. 4. Kuliner (Warung Dhahar Tembi) Makanan di sini sangat otentik. Menu-menu tradisional seperti Sayur Lodeh, Ayam Goreng, dan berbagai sambalnya terasa sangat "rumahan" dan segar. Sarapan disajikan dengan tenang, ditemani suara burung dan semilir angin sawah—jauh dari kebisingan sarapan buffet hotel besar yang riuh. 5. Pelayanan Staf di Tembi Rumah Budaya sangat ramah dengan keramahan khas Jawa yang tulus (andhap asor).
