What a pleasure to meet Noreen and stay at Dal Riada B&B! We had to reschedule our Donegal holiday, and Noreen was so understanding and compassionate, so we had to get to Dal Riada and enjoy her wonderful hospitality. Perfect location on the coast with beautiful views, very comfortable room and delicious cook-to-order breakfast each day. This is a great base for seeing most of County Donegal, on a quiet hilltop overlooking the sea.

Noreen was such a lovely hospitable, warm and friendly host. I had got an email from her a few days before check in to give her an idea of what time we might be checking in and a recommendation of a place for dinner, Teac Jacks. We found Noreen's B&B with no issues, there's a big sign at the end of the lane to show you where to turn and then there are subtle signs up on the property where you'd drive up into the driveway and outside the front door. Noreen welcomed us in and showed us up to our room, she showed us the landing first where she'd made little buns, one for each of us and there was a little fridge that kept the milk in if we had wanted a cup of tea in the evening. The table also had information about places near by and leaflets about different activities and sights. We got shown our room which was big, certainly roomy and with a fantastic view of the islands. We were asked about what we'd like for breakfast and what time we'd like it for and she told us to leave her a wee note so she'd see it before bed for the morning, there were notepads and pens left on the wee table upstairs and the one down in the hallway. The room was clean, tidy and had an ensuite which was brilliant. The room had a TV, tea & coffee facilities including kettle and mugs. Noreen even left us glasses and a cold glass bottle of water. The ensuite had ample towels and even little amenities such as shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We would definitely stay again.

We arrived at B&B on Tuesday 8th July and were met by a lovely lady Noreen .She welcomed us and showed us our room which had lovely views to some of islands off coast of Gweedore. She give us a breafast menu and a list of local places/ restaurants that maybe of interest to us during our stay. Super comfortable room breafast amazing and her homemade treats so good .A place we would surely return too highly recommend this B&B.

Noreen has created such a wonderfully homey atmosphere, and she attends to guests with the care of a mother looking after her children. Such an incredible stay by a tremendously gracious host. Facilities are perfect and this must be a top choice for people visiting Donegal.

Quietly stumbled upon this B&B while looking for a place in the area for my short visit to the area. It was beautiful property up a slight hill. The view I had while eating breakfast was absolutely beautiful. Dining options were close enough to walk, but driving would be best. Noreen was so very accommodating, even so much as to let me use her phone to make a call to previous hotel where I forgot something behind. Only minor issue was wifi connectivity in my room, which must have been at the far end from the router. Again, minor inconvenience for me. Highly recommended.

Noreen runs a home from home for her guests. From the moment you arrive until the day you leave she makes your stay special. She has a lifetime of knowledge and love for the local area and leaves a guide in your room for places to eat and listen to local music. Book whilst you can because she gets booked up very quickly.
