This was our favourite Inn on our two week drive around Ireland. We prefer unique, quiet places in smaller communities. This Inn was just north of Waterford & fulfilled our wish list. The rooms were huge; the bath modern & large. There is a lovely restaurant in the original building that had wonderful character.

One night stay recently. When we arrived I have to say first impressions weren't great. Outside really needs some tlc. Felt like going home and getting my strimmers, it looks so neglected. That aside, we went in and were welcomed by two lovely staff members. After an easy check-in, she met us on our floor and showed us around, as I would say the nooks and crannys and then onto our room. It was surprisingly modern. After showing us how things worked she bid us a lovely stay. The room was lovely and spacious. The panoramic view wasn't quite so panoramic as part of it took in the old carpets that were obviously being replaced but still, the view from every other window was beautiful. Beds were so comfortable and the air conditioning was much appreciated on such a warm night. Didn't get to visit the pub but from passing by it, it looked fabulous. Despite the little hiccups, The Garrandarragh Inn is well worth a visit. Looking forward to returning for a longer stay. Much thanks to it's absolutely wonderful staff who make the stay perfect 👌

This place was an absolutely wonderful find! Its location right off the motorway is incredibly convenient, and it’s a quick drive to Waterford. We were a family of four (with an infant) and were delighted to be allowed to check-in early as our room was ready. The room itself far exceeded my expectations; it was cleaner and newer than many dedicated hotels I’ve stayed in. The bathroom was spotless and modern, with excellent hot water and strong water pressure. Despite the presence of a bar downstairs, the soundproofing was superb—we couldn't hear any noise from the pub at all, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were welcoming, and the food was very satisfying. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would happily choose to book this lodge again in the future!

The whole experience of being at your inn was amazing. The bar and restaurant were charming and the rooms were very up-to-date more than we have seen even in the hotels. The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious. This was a dream come true to have found such a place in Ireland.
