We had a fantastic stay. We were able to have a lovely breakfast on a patio that was specially designed for us. The food here was delicious and served with homemade ingredients.

The room is very nice and the views from the property are very good. Susannah prepared a great breakfast and provided lots of advice on hiking in the nearby national park. If you like sleeping with owls hooting and water flowing in a stream, youll love this place.

Giuseppe and susan run this lovely mountain home as well as their summer home. I cannot express how calm the area and home are. You could easily sleep here, unblocked, for twelve hours. Suzan roasts some chestnuts for us in the lovely home's large, lovely fireplace, and in the morning, she prepares a delectable breakfast and presents it on a sunny veranda over a flowing stream. As hosts, giuseppe and susan treated you like family, and were eager to discuss the home's history, the stories behind the various pieces of art, and the particular home building. The bed in the bedroom was enjoyable, and we had a nice bed. It was a game of luck where we would remain when he made the decision to visit this region for the casentinesi national forest. Due to how lovely it is and how close it is to some fantastic hikes, we made it easy to stay in Il Ado. Giuseppe is a great source of local information on hiking and access points. We received a gift of homemade preserves, walnuts, and chestnuts from their property when we left.
