Really great location and the rooftop terrace in particular was a great little escape from the crowds of Sorrento. Close to everything. Adolfo was friendly and welcoming and gave good restaurant recommendations. Overall, would recommend to stay. We booked a daytrip through the associated booking agency and that was a rather chaotic experience I probably would not recommend, but that does not impact on the apartment

Me gustó la atención personalizada por parte de Salvatore y del dueño Rafaello. Muy atentos y pendientes de nuestra llegada, de tener todo lo necesario y, en caso de Salvatore, muy servicial, siempre con una gfan sonrisa. El Airbnb muy bonito, con todo ordenado, limpio. Limpieza diaria. La ubicacion excelente.

The staff was excellent in communication and resolving a couple of issues. Perfect location and the terrace was fabulous. Very clean. The room was smaller than it looked in the pictures, but worked out fine and worthwhile tradeoff for the terrace and location in the middle of everything. Kitchen was serviceable if you don't intend to cook, but a microwave would have been nice. In the pictures, the main terrace shows only one sofa, but there are two. The couple floors of stairs above the elevator that only went up 2 floors was a bit inconvenient, but doable after the "special" staircase we had in a Florence AirBnb so we we in shape for it. Lol. The "lobby" could use some love. It is reminiscent of "lobbies" in older buildings in Pest if you are familiar. Overall, excellent and we would stay again.

Absolute stunning find in the centre of Sorrento! Beautiful Penthouse with fabulous views, terrace and additional outside area with sun loungers. The accommodation is fitted out to a high standard with an air of luxury. Cannot fault anything during our stay. Raffaele and Salvatore were extremely accesible and helpful from teh moment we booked it. Salvatore went above and beyond what we could have asked for, let us leave luggae early and was on hand for advice and suggestions for earing and drinking. They offer a great service to help you plan your bespoke experience in Sorrento and the surrounding area. We will definitely stay again...but for longer! Cant recommend highlly enough.

My daughter and I had an amazing stay at Boutique Suites 186. We stayed from April 24-30th. The room was very clean and well-lit with a mini refrigerator and plenty of outlets for our electronics. Both the air conditioner and heat worked well and both were needed as the temps varied a bit. We were very happy with the location. A small grocery store was directly across the street where we frequented for nibbles, wine and forgotten necessities. We also found several lovely restaurants nearby. The staff was wonderful and helped coordinate travel to and from Naples as well as helped with my lost luggage. They also offered to help us find excursions throughout Amalfi. All in all it was a very memorable trip and I would highly recommend staying at Boutiques Suites 186!

I would highly recommend you stay at this property. It’s in a perfect spot with a quick 5 min walk from the train station and close to all the fun stuff in Sorrento. We rented a scooter and toured Amalfi. Such a gorgeous area of Italy. I will be back!

Had an amazing experience! Everyone was extremely helpful with everything we needed. The room was gorgeous with fresh water, heating, air-conditioning, a fridge, and modernized decor! Was in a perfect location with just steps away from the city center and the train station! It was very clean and comfortable with there being multiple eco-friendly amenities implemented into the room. The queen and single felt very comfortable as well. We were two women traveling and felt very safe staying at the property. Would 100% recommend staying at this property and will most likely stay at boutique suites again next time I’m in Sorrento :)

This was a great location. I am only giving this 4-stars but I am not sure I would have made a different decision. The location was perfect for us, 2-3 blocks from the main Piazzo. All the better options around were 3-4x the price as they overlooked the water. Take this review as more of a disclosure than a negative. The property is shared with residential apartments; this is not a hotel. There were 80 steps to get to our Suite - hard to do with big luggage. The elevator got us up the first 50 steps but was slower than walking the steps and quirky to operate. The air conditioner was undersized for the room and took hours to make a difference. It automatically turns off when we were not in the room. By 4am though it was very cold in the room. Knowing what I know now, I probably would still pick this place. We weren't in the room much and I would not want to pay $1000/night or more for one of the nearby hotels. Nor would I want a hotel on the hill which would require taxis to get around. This was very convenient to where we wanted to be.

Overall good stay in Sorrento in very good location, lovely penthouse apartment. Please note lift access only available to certain levels. Multiple steps required to go up to the penthouse and other levels. Difficulty with luggages to carry them up and down the stairs. There is no actual lobby with reception service but owners but willing to accomodate with time. Luggage storage only available on request so have to plan ahead which we only discovered after arriving. Would recommend but not suitable for people who need to do stairs.

L'alloggio rispecchia le immagini anche se lo stabile non sembra un granché. Per salire al terzo piano si deve prendere un montacarichi fino al terrazzo del secondo e da lì entrare da una porta e salire un piano di scale. Poi quando si entra tutto ok, pulito e colorato.Ci ritornerei.

The Apartment was at the city center which makes it easy to roam around Sorrento. However, I think it was not worth the money. First the lift is so typical with sensors that you can’t touch the wall, otherwise it will stop. I have never seen such a lift .Then the lift only takes you till the entry of the apartment. There are a lot of steps. Our apartment was on the top floor, it makes it difficult if you have luggages with no one to help. I ended up hurting my ankle.

Location is pretty good for this stay but it falsely advertises premium bedding. The bed was very uncomfortable and my partner and I woke up with sore hips. When we requested a fix to the bed situation, we were given a blanket so we slept on that. Prepare to receive many whatsapp messages from the owner as well.

First we spent 15 minutes waiting on a crowded street with all our luggage as nobody was there to even let us in the building. We then waited another 45 minutes for someone to show up to let us into the room. The lift was broken so we had to carry everything up numerous flights of stairs. The next morning the bathroom door lock broke, with my daughter locked inside. A locksmith ended up having to be called and we missed our Pompeii bookings. They only gave us one set of keys for three people none of which could be removed from the key ring. The keys opened the street door and controlled the electricity in the room so if someone wanted to go out without the others the people staying in the room would either have to be in the dark or walk down three flights of stairs to let the other person in. The room was nice and the staff were lovely when they showed up but management needs to have a review of their processes and facilities.
