Developed ourselves here to play a few of the golf courses in Rome. Excellent location in the heart of Frescati. Close to the train station for easy access to Rome if you want to remain in a lively city with all the trappings while avoiding the city hassle. Hotel lodging is ideal. Staff and service are ultraprofessional and friendly with a family touch that has been running the same restaurant for over a 100 years! So yes, they know how to cook and take care of people in the appropriate way. Where do I begin with the meal? The starter of fried egg and asparagus was great and not what you expected. A bottle of house wine comes from their vineyards, which theyve held since the late 1800 s. Wow nothing your 5 chains can even come close to. This is the real deal understated, friendly, and has a real feel and feel of an operation, staff family with a genuine sense of style. Definitely on the to return to list.

We chose the hotel Cacciani because it is familyrun and conveniently close to the local rail station when it was suggested to stay in Frascati rather than central Rome. The hotel is well located, close to the station and Piazza Muni for the local buses. We booked a room with a terrace and was much as shown left with a large terrace overlooking the station and beautiful, far reaching views. Lovely to wake up to and admire at night. Within the wardrobe is a safe. The room and bathroom are thoroughly cleaned, and the pillowcases were changed three times in five nights. The restaurant was packed every day. During the week we stayed, we discovered that many restaurants in Frascati werent all busy. Cacciani was, and it was, and it was definitely a very popular restaurant with a spacious terrace with the same view as our room. Although the prices appeared reasonable, I would say that the restaurant is highend, so people appeared to arrive dressed for dinner rather than being ad hoc for dinner on spec. Breakfast is served from 8 am until 9 am. There is a wide range of teas, and we had great coffee. As per la colazione in Italy, there is a limited selection of cereals, little ham and cheese, and lovely sweet cakes. If you have mobility problems, you wouldnt probably stay in Frascati. If not,

We were able to witness the large headlight of the train that was so slowly approaching the tiny station at the beginning of the night. We had left roma terming behind when we arrived at champion on our way to Frascati. When we realized our fawn, the ticket inspector let us off at a small station and assured us he would call so that the train to Frascati would stop there. Although time passed and we began to worry, it was here and we were on our way again. Far later than we had anticipated we arrived at Caccianis. The hotel's owners were concerned and sympathetic, so we were sat down, water, wine, prosciutto, and figs were brought. Soon we were sipping wine on our spacious private balcony as a prelude to a sound asleep. It was a few years ago when the pandemic broke in, and we eventually returned in late August, September 2022. The same friendly welcome, the same family owners, and the same staff, both front of house and housekeeping, were friendly and skilled. The restaurant's balcony, which had a view of Rome, enabled us to sample their delicious classic Italian cuisine, lovingly prepared and served. Never fails to please. Caccianis is on the fringes of Frascati's lovely historical center. Frascati is a safe and soothing place

Hotel Cacciani is conveniently located in the heart of Frascati and close to the train station. good link from Rome. Spotless rooms and spacious bathrooms. From our private balcony, the view is beautiful. Air conditioning didn't work, and a ventilator was installed in the room, but this wasn't enough when temperatures increased etc. Simple but tasty italian breakfast. Good cappuccino. This family run hotel offers excellent value for money. We ate in the hotel's restaurant, which we highly recommend. We had supper at the hotel's restaurant. Nice ambiance, delicious food, and breathtaking views.
