Since it is so beautiful and so well kept by the owner, we visited this castle the following morning. We've seen this castle several times on our journeys from France to Italy and back. This castle is especially impressive at night because of how it is lit in a really charming way. Yet, we never considered stopping there because we expected it to be a bit of a Disney-esque setting. It isn't! We had a fantastic room close to one of the towers, which was very cozy and well-furnished. Dinner was outstanding as well, offering attentive and cordial service and beautiful dishes. Our waiter served a wonderful wine, which was a real discovery in the neighborhood vineyards.

This location is charming and haunting, it is a truly delightful castle to stay in. Our first room was rather disappointing as it was cold and tiny, as the central air conditioner was being repaired that day. However, the wonderful Marta at the front desk made arrangements to move the room into the main part of the castle, a huge improvement and a wonderful room. The bed linen was wonderfully firm without being hard, the bathroom was large with a double sink, and the wifi was fast and reliable. Marta merits special recognition because she was a fantastic hostess, exceeding what one would expect or deserve from a staff, even in a fourstar establishment. We spent two nights in the restaurant, there weren't many choices nearby and the food was among the best we've had in Italy in a long time! Amazing and distinctive dishes in particular. I've tried staying at castles elsewhere, but this was the one time I had a great experience that lived up to the expectations. Highly advised.

We booked a 4-course dinner with a vegetarian companion. And then, the food and atmosphere came together to create this unique breakaway weekend. After that, the dinner was yummy and served in a beautiful 600-year-old dining room. Subsequently, the food in the kitchen was great and served to my vegetarian partner. Afterward, the place itself was amazing, with its secluded but prominent position. Afterward, the dinner was incredible. Subsequently, the cuisine here was excellent.

In Italy, staying in an antique castle. Does it seem like a dream? When we arrived, we were astonished by this hotel, which I made for two other coworkers and me. Such an old structure with such a lovely view. The rooms were good, and big, and clean. The absence of the castle as a castle was a small letdown. However, you can expect a nice decoration in a room that is in a dependency of the castle, and it is like it's in a castle. It was a memorable moment to have dining in the castle because it was in the castle.
