We just got home from nine nights at this hotel. First, you must recognize that 300 euros for nine nights is an ideal estimate of what you will receive. You will be getting taxis since the hotel isn't near any of Rome's popular tourist destinations. Buses and trains are too complicated to navigate into and out of the center at all times, and they cost 15 euros per person. If you're fit and healthy, you can walk it, but even then, it takes an hour and a half on foot, which we only did several times during the 32 degree heat! You will be charged 87 euros when you arrive. We finally checked into our room. Saying it was simple is untrue. There is a bed, a table, and a few old tatty bedside tables. The to is as far away as it can be from the bed! I'm not saying watching to was on our bucket list of things to do, but I'm just saying Rockford Files, Little House on the Prairie, and chips are the only things they could do. A little insight into what to anticipate. As long as you're aware that this isn't a great hotel, you won't be surprised by the quality of the offerings you will receive, which is cheap for a variety of reasons. First of all, let me just state that this hotel is far from the bus line, the fastest way to travel to the citys center, which is very late and crowded. The lobby area is lovely, and the personnel were extremely polite. The room was okay, albeit a little worn out, and a fresh coat of paint felt like a big difference. The bathroom is spacious and very clean, if also a little worn out. The location was excellent because it was peaceful and close to some excellent local hotel staff recommendations. Youll have to pay a bit more if you want to be closer to Romes center, but if youre happy to ride in or are a very accomplished walker! Id say this hotel is suitable for a short stop.
