Hotel was very nice, clean, and well decorated. We really enjoyed the room and had a very nice, spacious bathroom. They even provided free waters, sodas, and snacks. Great location for access to the train station. A bit of a walk to the old town, but all walkable.

The hotels is only a 5 minute walk from the station and 15 min walk from the historic center. The property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. There is an elevator!

Beautiful lobby, bar area and room. We got the family room which was an absolute delight and pleasant surprise. Two large adjacent luxurious rooms with fantastic amenities and toiletries. The staff is very quick to respond and bring any additional needs requested. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have a good system of reserving taxis if needed and can do this in a jiffy. Breakfast was great at the hotel too. Since it is in the city center, the noise level at night time is something that takes a little adjustment (ambulances, scooters, cars) driving by but the room was so good that it was a little compromise to make. Kids loved the room! Wish we would have stayed more. The old style elevator adds a touch of charm as well!

We liked everything about the hotel and people working there . The only thing that I didn’t like was that the hotel was supposed to provide parking, it was supposed to include it. But they told me that parking was very reduced in space and it wasn’t right there. Because of that they suggested to park in front of the hotel that he say was expensive or 50 meters away at a parking that was more reasonable for EU 18 a day . Ended up paying EU 90 for the 5 days I stayed. I was disappointed about having to pay for parking ( not garage , or roof cover only open parking). When it it was supposed to be included!!

The hotel is located very close to the train station and a short distance to the beautiful town center. Staff is very friendly, wifi is strong and the room is clean and comfortable.

Exceptionally clean and gorgeously remodeled. This was a lovely place to stay. The old elevator is pretty cool; this is a historic building that is close to other tourist attractions—everything is very walkable from this location. The breakfast buffet is really good too. Would stay here again.

Wonderful hotel, top class staff! We didn’t make it to breakfast but everything else was terrific! Walkable to restaurants & shopping. There were a few nice architectural sites to photograph nearby and it felt safe around town.

The Hotel Astoria is excellent. It is conveniently located near the train but in an area that is quiet, safe and far away from the crowds. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are wonderful with plenty of space, large, comfortable beds, a fridge which they stock with free beverages, and most importantly, they are sound proof so you do not hear people out in the hallways or on the streets. The breakfast is an extra cost but it is well worth it because of the wide selection of options and the quality of the food. We had an issue with our room the first day and the front desk staff took care of it immediately. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Genoa.

Ideal location, few minute walk from Genova Brignole and short walk ti the action downtown. It was our first visit to Genoa and we were very comfortable walking from Hotel Astoria to the waterfront and all the best restaurant and shopping districts. Major shout out to Simoné. He made our check in and check out experience amazing. We were only able to stay for one night but he made us feel like Penthouse guests staying for weeks! Highly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Genoa solely based on the experience Simoné provided.

Close to the train station, clean and spacious room, and friendly/helpful staff. Beautiful elevator. Stocked mini-bar. I will for sure stay here again when I come to visit with the family. Gorgeous room furniture and high ceilings. Nice touch with the slippers and walk-in closet. Hotel is just a few minutes from the train station and very close to restaurants and cafes, but still away from the crowds. Perfect!!! Good price for the quality!!!
