Great location. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! Appreciated dining recommendation to place just down the street that was fantastic! Note the hotel was recommended by the hospital that treated my dislocated elbow. We had no clothes, no meds, no toiletries, and had missed our cruise departure as a result. The hotel helped us with all these issues. Highly recommend!

Overall a nice spot to stay. Due to an event that happened the entire week, Florence was canceled. For the four of us in Careggi, we were able to secure a room. The cost we paid was significantly higher than usual because it was a final-minute change in the itinerary. Though a little worn out and in need of some updating, the room was tidy and adequate. I believe the owner, the front desk personnel, was also friendly and courteous. Good food is offered at the restaurant next door. hotel visitors get a 10-point discount. Breakfast was decent. The woman who took part in the breakfast was cheerful and eager to help us get around.

When visiting Florence, our family of four had a wonderful time at hotel Careggi. The front desk staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. To board the city bus to the center of the city of Florenz, you can purchase tickets at the front desk. The bus stop from the hotel is about a 5 minute stroll away. We left early in the morning to drive to our next destination the day after we checked out of the hotel. Abdul at the front desk was very helpful and gave us our choice of a fresh pastry for each of us and made us a cup of coffee. Thanks again for your kindness and generosity Abdul. We truly appreciated it. We were able to get ahead of morning traffic and arrive in time to Slovakia. This is an excellent hotel to stay at when in florence.

We left another awfully rated hotel when we made a last minute reservation here. The room is wonderful, and all of the employees were very welcoming. We were given two large balconies, a lovely large bathroom, and air conditioning that was a joy to have. The price was well worth the fact that breakfast cost just 5 extra rupiahs per day. The location was the only reason I gave 5 points instead of 5 because it was about a 30-minute walk from the center of Florence or a 510-minute walk from the train station, which only cost 1 in 50 to get into the center. It would be advisable.

Our one-night stay in July was at the hotel Careggi with my boyfriend. Because it was so remote from the city center bus stop, you can buy your ticket at the hotel's front desk. There are also ambulances everywhere. The room is very clean, and just as described on the internet, it comes with air conditioning and a refrigerator. The bathroom is also quite tiny but clean. They also provide private parking that is located across the street from the hotel. I have also booked a balcony which looks at the parking lot. The room also has an amazing view of the parking lot.

I stayed 2 night. My travel was interrupted by a serious injury that my wife suffered. I needed a place stay, and I knew nothing about the hospital neighbourhood. I found this hotel inline, and I booked primarily based on walking distance and some guest reviews. This is a small-budget hotel with basic amenities. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There isn’t much in the way of entertainment or dining in the area, but there is a gem of a bistro just around the corner.

Staff was professional. Hotel is old and could use some sprucing up. It was passable for our one night stay in Florence before a very early flight back to the U.S. after 3 weeks in Europe. No traffic at 4:30 am on the way to the airport. 😀
