I had a short stay (one night). The room was clean and I was able to check-in early (my room happened to be ready when I came to drop off my bags). The hotel is staffed 24 hours which I liked. The shared bathroom was clean. It is on a busier street, so there was still a lot of street chatter when I went to be relatively early (22:00). Is it a luxury or modern hotel? No. But if you plan to spend your days walking through Venice and want a location close to the train station, this is a great spot.

The toilet was not working properly, light were tricky to turning on, and we had to ask the gentleman at reception to come and take a look. The one star I gave this hotel is mainly because of his effort and willingness to help us resolve the issue. The washroom faucet also needs to be closed very tightly; otherwise, the water keeps running. The bathroom was extremely small and cramped, to the point that we didn’t even feel comfortable taking a proper full shower. The hotel itself is quite old, and the air conditioning was not effective at all, especially in the 36°C Venice heat. It simply couldn’t keep the room comfortably cool. Overall, the hotel needs significant improvement in maintenance and comfort. The receptionist’s effort to help us was the only positive part of our experience.
