Luna Convento

A 4 star hotel, which used to be a convent. One of the oldest cloisters in the Amalfi area, representing a spectacular example of Moorish architecture that leaves you amazed by the evocative mystic atmosphere that reigns after almost 800 years since its foundation in 1222, by Saint Francis of Assisi. The guest rooms surround the ancient courtyard, each different from one other, with a spectacular view on the crystal-clear sea of the Ancient Maritime Republic. Decorations and furnishings, in pure Mediterranean style, create that warm and comfortable atmosphere which has always characterised the Hotel Luna Convento. The Hotel Luna Convento has two panoramic sea view restaurants which serve typical dishes of Amalfi culinary tradition, perfect combination between sea and mountain. The sea water swimming pool, the solarium and the private access to the sea will become ideal places to enjoy moments of pure relaxation, lulled by the sound of the waves and kissed by the warm rays of the sun. The pool is accessible through a series of steps (about 80) leading to the picturesque cliff overlooking the sea. The pool is available from May 1st to October 31th.
