We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Dei Guardiani and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Venice. The location was excellent—close enough to the main attractions to explore the city on foot, yet tucked away in a quieter area that provided a peaceful retreat after a busy day of sightseeing. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to answer questions or offer helpful recommendations about getting around Venice. A particularly memorable touch was the way the hotel helped celebrate our daughter’s birthday. We were greeted with a thoughtful welcome gift, which was a wonderful surprise and made her feel truly special. It was a small gesture that reflected the genuine care and hospitality of the staff, and it made our stay even more memorable. The hotel was also conveniently located for accessing the vaporetto and other transportation, making it easy to explore all that Venice has to offer. We also appreciated the charming atmosphere of the property, which added to the authentic Venetian experience. Overall, Palazzo Dei Guardiani exceeded our expectations. From the warm hospitality and attention to detail to the excellent location and comfortable accommodations, everything contributed to a fantastic stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Venice.

This place is very clean and modern and spacious which isn’t common in Venice. It was nice having a canal view from the windows. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bathroom was huge. The staff were very nice and they give you cookies as a welcome gift. The only con was the main lamp was broken and they couldn’t fix it while we were there so it was a bit dark in that area. The location isn’t too bad although it is far from the city centre, about a 25 min walk, which was ok for us. There are still many places to eat and grocery stores around so it was still very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel!

Very modern and clean accommodation with good air con! We loved the location, a bit of a way out from main attractions in a nice area. Plenty of local restaurants, shops and supermarkets. A nice area to sit outside too.

Amazing hotel / apartment. Super modern and clean. Service was thorough and professional. Amazing amenities. Communication with the property was easy. Very reasonable prices (although we did stay on a Sun & Mon night). Super spacious for a family of four - 2br, 2bath, plus common area + kitchen. It was super hot in late June/early July , but it was so nice to have 3 ac units. It had a ton of thoughtful little amenities - dishwashing liquid + sponge, tissue boxes, a washing machine, cold water in fridge, an ice cube tray, and heated drying racks. Even skylights have 2 control panels (to control skylight shade and window opening). Cannot recommend this place enough. The one drawback is that you are pretty far from the center of Venice - be ready to walk 10-15min to major attractions. But you are a short walk to Piazzale Roma (where we parked), and the neighborhood is very quiet (almost no tourists). We really got a feel for calm, authentic Venice life.

The place was amazing, great customer service! They arrange a tour for us to Murano and also arrange out taxi to take us to land transportation in order to take our cruise in Ravenna. The ladies at the front desk were very professional and helpful. It is 25 min to St Marcus square The space of the apartment was great for us and very clean

Pros: - Very clean - linens, floors, everything :) - Great air conditioning / full temperature control (mini splits) - Nice bathroom: overhead shower & hand held; tile bathroom - Nice kitchenette - fridge, oven, rangetop, dishwasher - Large hot water heater/ lots of hot water - Comfortable beds - Great windows /soundproofing & quite neighborhood - 5-minute walk from lots of restaurants/gelato/bakeries on Rio del Tre Pont - 10-minute walk from major Vaporetto stop: P.le Roma (to North of apartments) - 10-minute walk from bus to airport next to P. le Roma - 7-minute walk to minor Vaporetto stop to south (to go to Piazza de San Marco): San Basilio - Nespresso pods in room & more at check-in area - Helpful desk staff who speak great English and will make/assist with making reservations/arrangement for tours, private water taxis, etc. - Nice courtyard Cons: - 15-minute walk from Santa Lucia train station. Doable. Only needs to be done once. Hotel staff will arrange private water taxi for door to door (though guest bears expense & pricey). (Pro is it makes for quite, peaceful neighborhood) - Long walk from central Grand Canal (Ponte di Rialto)

Quiet location, nearby restaurant and boat transport were nearby. Very spacious rooms, newly renovated, everything works. They should have included instructions about how to get there by vapouretto, so it would have been easier with luggage, instead for walking from train station to the hotel.
