Location was perfect, that is right in the centre of Ochi Rios, with 5 to 10 minutes walks to Bay beach( free admission with vouchers from Sago Palm),restaurants and shops. Meals were delicious and staff so very truly polite. Great value for money! Will definitely be returning again!!!

Everything is as advertised. All staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with an option of local breakfast or American style. The pool is located on the roof with 24 hours access. There is a mini library, a pool bar. The space is large, inviting and modern. It is certainly a very comfortable space ideally located very close to popular beaches, the bus station, KFC. There is a wealth of convenience, including several bottles of water in your room on arrival, a complimentary drink for each guest. My only improvement would be for the water to be placed in the fridge for guests and for the robes and slippers to match the number of guests. The canopy seat by the pool area was not clean. The microwave in my room wasn't working but I was promptly assisted so I could enjoy my meal. We loved it and will definitely be returning soon.

Sago Palm is centred perfectly where everything should be for access best location in Ochi by far! I want to say a special thank you to everyone at Sago Palm even with all of our injuries. We enjoyed it to the fullest Miss Bradshaw special thank you to you and your sweet mangoes. They were delicious. Thanks again. You’re very kind as well as the owner and his son with that infectious smile and his pleasant constant positive demeanour was such a delight to see! A special thank you too the cleaning staff, bar staff, cooking staff everything was impeccable. Patrice was always a delight to see every day such a wonderful presence to be around as well as Jordan and Chris and everyone else, the list is endless with special thank you to Martin behind the bar who made Kyle and I laugh every day. He Definitely took my mind off my broken foot with laughter so thank him for that! Smiley, Tamki and the entire staff is endless as well. You all made us feel like family and we are grateful for all of you. Next time No more smoking in the smoking session ever 😆 . I apologize for that foolishness on our part, back to normal now and when we come back the normalcy will continue lol we love you all thanks again.

I love the boutique feel of this hotel. It is quiet and relaxing, while still keeping you literally in the middle of Ocho Rios.

This was our first time to stay at Sago Palm, a boutique hotel right in Ocho Rios, within walking distance of the beach, shops, and restaurants. We enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel for breakfast (Jamaican buffet and American menu options). We also walked down the main street to The Almond Tree Restaurant for dinner and were rewarded with a beautiful sunset view overlooking the water.

Sago Palm has several benefits on property, like a restaurant/bar, pool, fitness room, parking, and meeting rooms. Some rooms have kitchenettes. Our room rate included breakfast. My only complaint about our specific room was the bright LED lights in the hallway shining through the tinted window near the bed, which made it hard to sleep. (Perhaps a room darkening shade could be installed?) Sago Palm is within walking distance of the beach -- just ask the front desk for a pass, which is available from 8am-5:30pm, then take the pass to the beach entrance/gate where you will sign your name and receive a wristband. Shaded picnic tables at the beach are "first come, first serve."

This hotel conveniently located to all amenities in the heart of Ocho Rios was very nice. The staff were lovely. . Thank you. Comfortable hotel room - immaculate and clean as was the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was awesome with authentic delightful dishes. There is no entertainment however there a decent bar and a very nice outdoor terraced pool. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Saga Palma Hotel was a great place to stay. I really enjoyed the authentic Jamaican breakfast each morning, and the hospitality from the staff was excellent throughout. The team were welcoming, helpful, and genuinely good people, creating a relaxed and positive atmosphere. They kindly allowed me to store my belongings after checkout so I could explore more of the island, which I really appreciated. They also helped arrange a driver for me to visit my family’s area in Jamaica, which made the experience even more special. The hotel itself has a lovely rooftop pool and a great overall vibe. Staff were professional, friendly, and made the stay feel easy and comfortable. Wishing the team continued success — I’d definitely recommend Saga Palma Hotel to anyone visiting Jamaica.

A little gem of a hotel. For a more authentic Jamaican stay away from the bland big commercial resorts and hotels. Very friendly staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I will return and recommend highly.
