Amazing hotel, a true example of luxury with the attention to details that is the hallmark of high end Japanese hospitality. Rooms are spacious and perfectly cleaned (as is the whole hotel), great space a small natural spring onsen. Nicely located on the edge of Gion. I hope to visit again.

Our stay at Banyan Tree Higashiyama Kyoto was exceptional (4 nights). The hotel is beautifully designed and practically brand new. We loved that guests could choose from two different styles of yukata to wear during their stay. The breakfast was delicious (there are three options for breakfast and you can mix a match), the staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming, and our room was spacious, spotless, and equipped with excellent amenities. We had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again.

Luxury hotel overlooking Kyoto. Newly built 12 months ago so everthing was well maintained. Short walk to restaurants. Many close at 8pm due to local rules. We wanted a relaxing place to spend our last few nights after a busy tour of Japan. This hotel was great for that.

Kamarnya luar biasa, pemandangan indah, dibangun dengan baik dan memiliki tempat tidur besar dan nyaman Onsennya pribadi dan intim, saya sangat menyukai waktu saya di hotel, saya berharap bisa tinggal lebih dari empat hari. Mereka bahkan menawarkan tumpangan ke stasiun dengan pria paling baik yang memastikan kami tiba tepat waktu! Saya sangat merekomendasikan hotel ini. Apalagi karena lokasinya yang memang istimewa. Hotel ini bahkan memiliki taman yang indah yang membawa Anda ke hutan bambu pribadi. Satu-satunya tip adalah menempatkan ruang merokok mungkin di B 1 karena sulit untuk selalu keluar untuk merokok.

Highly recommended, 5 stars. A luxurious luxury hotel in the higashiyama district. It boasts a stunningly appointed wellness guest suite with a wooden soaking tub yoga equipment, as well as a stunning view of the skyline of kyoto city, especially at night. We adore the traditional japanese interior decor and attentive service from the hotel staff, especially manager kiyoko and ayumi at the front desk, the friendly restaurant staff. This newly renovated hotel is a hidden gem, within walking distance of several attractions.
