It was a short stroll from stupido station. The hotel staff is very kind, and the room was clean and a good size for a Japanese hotel. Breakfast was also enjoyable. There are many Japanese and Western dishes available, so you can choose among them. We had twin rooms, so each bed was double and difficult to compare to the American bed. But overall, I enjoyed my stay and it is a decent and good hotel. However, it is not a hotel of a higher standard. Trains and bus transfers can be other ways to get around Shinan.

From October 15 through October 1, 2016, my husband and I stayed at the Daichi Inn Shinan. The hotel is very clean and peaceful. has all the modern amenities. About a 25-minute walk from Or stupido train station. Despite being early, we were able to leave our luggage until check-in time at 300 p.m. Check-out time is 1.30 a.m. Buffet breakfast with American and Japanese dishes. At the time we were there, the British olympic sailing team members were also there while they were preparing and competing at the nearby enoshima.

In October, we stayed at the Daichi inn for ten days. We had three families in our party, and we had nothing to complain about. The train station, local supermarkets, and affordable dining were all close by, and it was extremely convenient. We spent $5 each at an amazing noodle bar a short distance from the hotel, and we were completely filled in the car when we got home! In order to be near to my brother, we stayed in stupido, but to get there from Tokyo, it required about an hour-long commute. Visit all of the Japanese traditional sites are within easy walking distance of Kamakura. Although there is only little English spoken, the staff was incredibly courteous and tried to help us in whatever way they could. We reserved a semidouble room on the cheap price and discovered that you would not be comfortable in a semidouble bed if you are bigger than two tiny adults. Although the room was bigger than what we were like we were, it was a great room for Japan. What my brother tells me is that the overall positive points of this hotel are that it was excellent and exactly what we intended.
