I had a restful nights sleep. The location was merely ten minutes walk from kyoto station, and there was an englishspeaking employee at checkin time. There is only one towel provided once if you stay for two nights. That wasnt ideal. We had to add 300 yen per person.4.8/56 May 2024

Would undoubtedly return to this hotel. A very laidback and hospitable atmosphere. The rooms are exceptionally clean and cozy, with a really cool design. I liked the breakfast. 2in1 wash and dryer laundry. Big screen 50 tv. Can be used to monitor laundry vacancies. Fully carpeted flooring. Quiet and quick elevator. Very nice hospitality. Secure door lock. Hitech toilet. Disliked far from any restaurant or cafe. You have to take a taxi just to go to eat in supper, especially at dinner. Small rooms with quiet atmosphere, even for the toilet and bathroom.4.8/512 Nov 2023

Although the hotel doesnt appear appealing at first glance, it was fantastic. I paid extra for a larger room, but each room featured id paid more for one, and we each had sytayed beds and soaking tubs in the shower area. Every day, you can purchase two lots of bath salts from the front desk, along with complimentary soft drinks, tea, etc. From 9 am to 12 am and free alcoholic beverages from 4 pm to 11 pm, which you may serve yourself. Additionally, souvenirs are available near the reception desk for an affordable price. The bed was still firm, although not as firm as the other Japanese beds we had used so far compared to the others we have used in japan. I lost my mobile phone in the taxi, and the receptionist assisted me in contacting the driver and company. She was really enthusiastic. The hotel room was neat and clean. When i left, there was a bus. It was very convenient that there were only three stops to the business district. Next time, ill live here.4.8/57 Aug 2023

This place has excellent service! The rooms are small and lack amenities like a place to hang clothes or sanitize your clothes. Happy hour from 8 to 8. The location is very close to kyoto tower, an amazing shopping arcade, and idyot shop. Its easy to travel to bamboo grove, kinkakuji, etc.4.8/514 Apr 2023

One of kyotos budget hotels. The room is small and can barely fit two large bags in it, but it is cozy. Bed enough for a couple to sleep. Toiletries are provided. Daily bath soap that can be picked up from the hotel lobby. Free happy hour for free beer or sake at night, only until 9 pm. From morning to 12 am, free drink is available. Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, its fine, 12 minutes walk to kyot station our room was an ecocleaning room, we only allowed to change the towel once for three nights, which is why it was cheaper. However, i would advise staying in if possible to get slept better for two adults. But you have your own preferences, as bringing bottled water would be more expensive.4.6/522 Jul 2024

The hotel staff is friendly and can speak some english. The room is large enough for two people. There is no wardobe so you have to hang your clothes on the wall. Hotel offers clothes freshener which you can spray on your clothing as well. Also noticed that they provide some shoe shine and equipment in the room, probably to cater to business travelers. You can also take free bath salts from the reception. Coffee, tea and soft drinks are also free at the lounge or breakfast area on 1st floor. Downside is that the hotel is a little far from kyoto station (about 15 minutes walk), so it is better to take cab about 10 minutes. Cleanliness can be improved as much. Our room had stains on its comforter and we noticed some dirt on carpet near the foot of the bed and also sticky residue on underside of table when we tried to shift the table. It was probably missed during housekeeping. Pillows are quite flat and not very comfortable either. However, for the price paid, the motel is decent.4.6/51 Jun 2024

I had a wonderful night and would highly recommend it. Easy checkin and checkout, the room is clean, and the hotel is very quiet. The location is ideal, 10 minutes walk from kyoto station. If you dont want to walk, some buses will take you very close to the motel.4.6/515 Nov 2023

The staff is very friendly and fluent in english. It was no problem to have a conversation with them at all. Bonus points for the selfservice laundry room. Everything is neat and clean. My only suggestion would be to change or clean the bathtub curtains as they had some (what seemed to be) moldish stains on them or at least my room, 210. All other things were 100% clean and even the water cups and utensils didnt have dried water marks on their surfaces! If needed, there is also someone who speaks fluency in spanish. Overall, the reception staff was very polite and friendly. The hotel has a large lobby and dining area. There is july 15.00 and june 20.00, and they provide unlimited alcoholic beverages for an hour. Location is relative to both the old city and the kyoto central station. Very good, fairly roomy and spotless. A kidfriendly amenity is provided in the room. Breakfast is huge for upscale hotels. This is my third hotel stay in japan, so its important that breakfasts also appeal to international guests. Both local and foreign guests can enjoy this hotels breakfast. Fresh bakery products, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, etc. All of them were fresh and delicious.4.6/519 Apr 2023

I cant recommend this place enough! My companion and i spent three nights here, and it served as the ideal home base before and after long days of exploring the city. We used some of the coffee in the lobby before embarking on morning adventures, eating lunch, then heading back to il verde around three for a siesta before taking in their fantastic happy hour offering for about four. After that, off to dinner and back into the room for some Netflix (you can log into your own account) before completely ceasing out. The room with two twin beds was clean and comfortable, with excellent amenities. Also, because it is primarily dogfriendly, there was hardly any noise from my little companion making their way in and out during happy hours. What perks were that since it was an animalfriendly hotel, many small customers made their entrance and exit during the happyhour.Popular Facilities
