First, I want to point out that the hotel is actually called Hotel Saka rather than Hotel Adhere. When they name it, they use kanji in a confusing way. The hotel is lovely, close to all the local stations, as well as many shops and restaurants. We stayed in a 4-bedroom room, which is hard to find in Japan. The room was fairly small but modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly, even helping me do some laundry. They don't offer breakfast, but they bake croissants and pastries in the office and bring them out to the lobby at 8.30 in the morning, which was a treat they are free. In the lobby, there is also a useful free coffee maker and an internetconnected computer. A dawson shop is directly across the street from the road. The beach is a 5-minute walk away, cross the street via an underpass. Be cautious of the numerous Toby Black Kites who will take food from your hands, this happened to us! Enoshima is a 10-minute walk across the bridge. A small, quiet, family run hotel with exceptionally helpful employees. Very highly recommended.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. The quality of the room is very good. Very reasonable for the money. We got up very early and walked around the island. The bridge offers breathtaking views of Fuji. At the time of the day, we had enoshima to ourselves and returned to the hotel just in time for the breakfast dish that was provided in the lobby. Close to an unusual train/streetcar line, which is fun and convenient to ride along.
