This place is very convenient because it is close to nagano station. The rooms overall environment is good and there is no peculiar smell. There is a dining area in the lobby and i also like the public areas on the floor.

A fantastic dorm to stay in. The staff is amazing here, very cooperative and speaks good english. Dormen are of a decent size. Bus stop is only 2 minutes walk from the hostel. They also have free drinks at night.

This hostel is fantastic! The female dormitory was enormous, but there was a feeling of seclusion because each bed cubicle was closed off and the showers were divided into separate rooms. Everything was immaculate. I would return!.

The location is about 5 minutes from nagano station, the best thing about this dorm is its location. Checkin and checkout were relatively easy, but beware that no one is at the reception from 10 pm to 10 am. My room was a large dourm with squatting beds. Most travelers were considerate of keeping the noise level to 0 but with such tidiness, you will hear some noise from your neighbors tosses and turning in bed. I personally didnt find the environment to be very conducive to meeting new people, although to put it mildly, i arrived quite late and left quite early. They do have an inhouse restaurant, however he didn't get the chance to try it. The washrooms and showers were functional but could have been cleaner. Bring your own towels and toothbrushes because they do charge for them. Overall, good place to sleep for the night if you want to save money, though im not sure ill repeat it again.

The pizza is delicious! We had queatro fromage, prosciutto pizza, and smoked chicken pizza. The toppings were delicious and the crust was very well made. Pizza prices are very reasonable.

Good location, close to the train station and lots of restaurants. The bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was spotless and i liked having a large lounge space to use outside business hours. I didnt mind that the first floor was only usable outside work hours because ive been out of the hostel at that time.

What a discovery. We had to postpone our trip to kanazawa because of the 7.6 earthquake in hoshu, which caused us to need emergency lodging. They provided excellent service, and we were always greeted with grins as soon as we entered the door.

The location is very strategic, very close to the zenkoji temple. There is a parking lot nearby and seiyu is open 24 hours allowing you to shop early in the morning. My child was happy with his first bunk bed.

I highly recommend you to try their restaurant while youre there. The italian food was delicious. As an italian who has lived in japan for the past 5 months and has tried quite a few pizzas around the tokyo area, this one was one of the best ive ever had.

I was able to check in earlier than scheduled time. The dorms, including the washroom and shower areas, are clean and the mattresses are comfortable. 5 minutes walk to nagano train station. Next to the accommodation is a 24hour supermarket.

The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. I was aware but probably didnt realize that the mixed room is enormous and has 42 beds in one location. However, the room does appear to have more than enough space between bunks. The bunk construction meant that every slight knock against the sides with the hanger or your elbow would tell the entire row that someone was clumsy in their bed. There is an airflow control system in the bunk, which makes the cabin dark and ideal for sleeping, but it can also be challenging to regulate the temperature in this bunk. Beds are comfortable and better suited for back sleepers. If you dont want to carry everything around when you leave for the day, there isnt a nice numbered locker where you can store your day pack and valuables if you prefer not to haul everything out. Make sure you try at least one of the craft beers at the bar, especially the sakemade ise kadoya ivepa. Its not too hot, has hints of sweetness.
